im getting the PS4. I have no need for a multiplat machine like the xbox, because I just upgraded my PC. and the kinect.... yeah, my IQ level is just a little too high to care about that crap.

if square enix can finally get on the ball and start pumping out these HD remakes, they might reclaim some respect from their old fans.

was that expensive touch screen gamepad still worth it, nintendo? it seems to me that money would have been better spent going into the raw power of console's tech

i dont see how. the xbox720 isnt going to have any of the initial advantages the 360 had (online and third party support).

sounds about right. the n64 sold around 30 million and the gamecube sold a bit over 20.

the only reason why the wii sold well was because of a large casual craze. soccer moms, kids, college students, grandmas. everyone wanted to try out motion controls. it had a gimmick that actually drew people in.

im afraid that gimmick isnt present, this time around. no one cares about a tablet gamepad. and without a console selling gimmick, they are back to where they wer...

and nintendo fans wonder why we dont take the wii u seriously? really?

look at all the engines and tools that are already running on PS4 and being utilized by developers as we speak. this is what actual console innovation looks like.
