we have knack and driveclub in the first party department, and watchdogs and destiny in the multiplat department.
at least sony isnt like nintendo and their shamelessly rehashed "New SMB" series. or microsoft, who, after ten years, is almost entirely reliant on halo, going into next gen.

alot of these are games are 30, 50, or even 100 hour experiences. and they all look to be AA or AAA.
we wont be having to wait for games
buy back spyro and crash
also, legend of dragoon. they should either do a prequel with the dragoon wars, or a game that takes place hundreds or thousands of years after the first. so we could see a futuristic version of the world.
its funny how some people act like graphics and gameplay are totally separate entities.
stronger tech allows the developer to have a larger scope to work with and more creative possibilities. it allows them to push genres further. that is how it always has been.
the 720 will definitely need blueray. unless they want their games to come in books of CDs
to the fanboys who try to tote this, trine 2, or most wanted, as examples of the wii u's next gen abilities, remember this
there is a difference between having a better version and being able to do something the other consoles cant do
and there is also a difference between being able to do things other consoles cant do, and being a full generation ahead of them
lol wow. just bury your head in the sand and pretend that everything is ok and the wii u has good third party prospects.
"WiiU so far all devs that have worked on it love it,"
oh yeah. everyone loves the wii u infrastructure. that's why all the ports have horrible framerate issues and all around weaker graphics.
"Gearbox." (dat aliens conlonial marines lol. thats all you have coming from them)
"Cr...
its safe to say that if nintendo's goal was to get back to the hardcore gamer with the wii u, they did it completely wrong, while sony did it completely right.
the most advanced online feature the wii u offers is the ability to share screen shots and drawings
Meanwhile the PS4 allows instant playing of demos, instant gameplay streaming to your friends and to ustream, instant game recording and sharing, being able to play games while you download them, a l...
i dont think that revised list is very useful considering that we know for a fact that ubisoft, blizzard, capcom and square enix are making games for the PS4, and they arent even listed.
how could you be unimpressed with the hardware shown? we are already getting games, day 1, that look better than anything on current consoles and the true power of the console hasnt even been tapped into yet.
talk about a solid launch lineup
driveclub
infamous second son
killzone shadowfall

and probably more. obviously not all these will be out on day 1, but they will be in the launch window
are you taking notes nintendo? this is how you launch a next gen consoles. might want to try that next time. if there is a next time, after this. ...
this is true. microsoft is going to go full-on casual this gen. im not "fanboy trolling" or anything.
just look at their last 3 E3 conferences. each one is more casual focused, kinect focused, cablebox focused than the last.
i cant imagine microsoft tossing 3 years of marketing aside and going straight for the hardcore gamer.
in all likeliness, the next xbox will be much more casual than the PS4. it will be a "family entertain...
funny how all the xbox fanboys bashed the PS3 because of its "hard to develop for" infrastructure and its online network are now deafeningly silent, now that sony has rectified both these issues and gone above and beyond.
i guess twinsanity wasnt too bad, especially compared to the PS2 spyro games, but the series quickly jumped the shark after that
in the trailer the helghan guy said
"30 years ago, our world was swept away in a tide of so-called justice"
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
so, this isn't exactly new information.
unless naughty dog is making it, im not too hyped. every single crash game after the PS1 sucked. same with spyro. both these franchises have been handed around to every third rate developer on the block.
yeah, you are totally right. it would have been much better if they had a pop singer show up and if they showed nothing but motion control games and video streaming services (dat Nickelodeon)
i mean, that is the kind of stuff gamers really want to see right? all we got to see at this conference was a bunch of next gen game announcements, next gen hardware power, ubiquitous third party support, and an endless array of new online features never seen before.
yea...
the vita is the only system that can walk away with all the handheld GOTY awards in its first year (over a dozen between 4 different games) and people still say
"derr it has no gamez!!"
wait until you can use gakkai to stream PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 games to your vita. its coming, peple
not a chance. you may see a spike in sales when the new 3D mario, zelda, and super smash bros hit. maybe a few million here or there, but you are still looking at 20-30 million lifetime sales for this thing, if that.
its a generation behind in graphics and online features. and this time there is no casual craze to save it, like with the wii.
