Pass. It's unfortunate, because I was really looking forward to the game.
I'll wait for a super/ultimate/complete edition.
Gotta love how people are taking my comment seriously... Unbelievable.
A new CoD? I hope they recycle even more ideas into this one! I wonder what it will play like? Oh boy, the possibilities are endless... WOW!!!
You know what they say: You can't spell 'Activision' without 'innovation'
Being huge fans of Halo, their concept art is obviously going to be influenced by Halo. There is nothing wrong with inspiration.
That's the joke... ಠ_ಠ
Yes.
Risen 2 and The Witcher 2 both have my full attention. I'm curious about Prototype 2. Hopefully it's really good.
I hate it when missions are cut from games and thrown in the CE. What's worse is that not a single one of the CEs comes with all three missions.
The Freedom Edition comes with 'Lost Mayan Ruins' and 'Ghosts of War', the Join or Die Edition only comes with 'Ghosts of War', and the Special Edition only comes with 'A Dangerous Secret'. Why couldn't they put all three missions in one of the packages? I don't want to have to wait for a G...
It's the start of a new trilogy, set in the same universe as the first 3 games.
"...Even Uncharted gets lambasted for being "on rails" by some. Games like Heavy Rain and God of War are also looked down upon by some because of the "on rails" thing."
What the heck are you talking about? Those games aren't on rails. On rails means the player has NO CONTROL OF MOVEMENT.
The only criticisms I have with the game are:
- Lack of conversation branches with NPCs(think Kasumi and Zaeed from Mass Effect 2).
- Lack of dialogue choice.
- Side missions are only found on the Citadel.
- Side missions mostly consist of fetching items by scanning a planet or picking them up during a main mission. Aside from the main quest, there is no real space exploration.
Still a very good game, but not a 10.
The Shadow Broker should be on the list
Trey and Matt are working closely with Obsidian on the South Park RPG. This is a completely different game and (as I recall) they don't have a lot of involvement in this one.
If the game mode is indeed a timed exclusive, I have no doubt that Crapcom will charge PS3 owners to unlock it in the future when it's released as "DLC".
...
WHAT???
What the hell is this crap?
You should give AC2 and Brotherhood a try. Both are great games. I have yet to purchase Revelations, but I'm sure I will buy it at some point this year once it drops in price.
Once again, the N4G community takes what was obviously intended to be a joke seriously.
*sigh*
Wow. Once again, N4G fails to detect sarcasm if a poster doesn't put "/s" at the end of their post.
Obviously Superman 64 is crap. C'mon people...
Microsoft still own the publishing rights to the first game, so a PS3 release just isn't going to happen.
