@Silly gameAr
The author of the article listed some games that weren't very disappointing and that's where his "where's UC3 in that list?" joke came from. (For the simple minded folks out there, he wasn't attacking Uncharted!! You can rest easy now...)
It's too bad certain posters here feel the need to be offended by everything. Sucks to be you guys!
@ pc_masterrace
lol at the 8 disagrees. Some people here have no sense of humor...
Kingdoms of Amalur, anyone??
This is exactly why developers don't risk new IPs - they don't get the attention they deserve. Only three people mentioned the bloody game in the comments section... That is just shameful.
The game looks great and I will be purchasing it on day one.
"batman"
Actually, you'll find that most people prefer Arkham City.
LBP2 is such a fantastic game. Still a lot of fun to play many months later
Yeah, that's true.
It's still a great game though.
The concept is great... but not for Spyro. I think the idea would work with a franchise like Pokemon a lot better.
Uh... That was kinda his point?
He's saying that he's not even going to even bother trying to guess what the game might be since the last reveal was so unexpected.
Hopefully it's not a shooter...
lol @ the disagrees
We've seen barely any gameplay aside from a 10 minute demo and a few very short sequences in the trailers. Be realistic.
I don't think anyone ever expected it to actually be released in Q1 2012.
I'm thinking it'll be released in August at the earliest.
Unfortunately, neither Naughty Dog or Sony ever owned the Crash Bandicoot IP. Universal Interactive Studios (now known as Vivendi Universal Games) originally owned the rights to both the Crash and Spyro franchises.
I'll gladly buy a new Crash game if it was good, even if Naughty Dog has nothing to do with it. All Crash needs to win me over is a good developer!
"Calm down buddy"
He seemed pretty calm to me.
I happen to agree with him too. These articles are getting annoying. We don't need a link (pun not intended) to every single new mod released.
It looks bland and boring. Can't exactly say I'm surprised. When a game is announced just a few months from release, it's a good sign it'll be crap.
Hey, El_Barto
On the topic of overdone things, how is season 23 of The Simpsons coming along?
I think DasBunker was only joking around, mate. But yeah, there are still a lot of people I know who have just recently purchased the game too. It's good to see it doing so well.
I've got my fingers crossed that it ends up as one of the daily deals on Steam. If not, I'll pick it up at the already discounted price.
Honestly, a blurry "teaser" image like the one shown isn't going to gain my interest.
A clear image might have.
Picked up Neverwinter Nights 2: Platinum :D
I had a feeling it would turn up in one of the daily sales.
I agree with you about wanting more new IPs, but I'm not ready for a new console generation yet. It's too soon.
