i purchased two copies of vista and have been using them (it's not bad) but to say that vista beats osx is a bit far fetched when you know that microsoft is very close to dumping vista.. i.e. vista will be replaced in 2009 and won't be supported by ms within 2/3 years.

i am actually against companies putting pressure on reviewers even if they are showing some prejudice. i really do not like 1up since i think 1up are biased against sony but i am all for freedom of the press. 1up is a joke but 99% of people can see through this cr@p of a review anyway.
game reviewers should be allowed to act independently regardless of how screwed up they are.

look at it this way: although the ds is kicking the psp big time in term of sales do you think the psp has lost?? in particular if you bought a psp would you feel like you lost out??
point is xbox 360 owners and ps3 owners do not feel like they have lost and this is what really matters.. there are no winners and losers in this generation yet.
in a couple of years time when the ps3, xbox and wii are all around 150 bucks all this fanboy discussion will be dead since ...

i only own a ps3 but getting a bit fed of all this flamebaiting by gaming journalists who have nothing to do but speculate this and that. why do people get paid to rehash the same story over and over again? ps3 is doing well - better than ever but just stop all these flamebait articles by bored journalists.
another UK studio closes .. this is sad - only the government can prevent this collapse in the UK games industry from from happening (thru tax breaks).. the UK was once only second to the US in games publishing.. very sad ..
