a driving game on the ds other mariokarts? shovelware comes to mind. platformers, rpg and puzzles work but not sure driving game such as grid will work.

sony deemed resistance was good enough to compete against gears hence killzone was moved to 2009. no need to expend energy in competing against gears when resistance 2 will have as much hype. sony is confident that R2 will compete with gears so why bother competing with itself (i.e. k2 with R2)

firstly, the whole industry slowed in Q1 since standard DVD players sales are also down to the tune of 39 percent. A similar drop in blu-ray players which dropped 38% (40% drop in jan/feb followed by a 2% rise in March). However, the numbers ignored PS3 consoles which increased considerably from the previous year. furthermore, the author HADN'T't realise that blu-ray HADN'T FULLY WON the format war in january and february (the 40% drop months)...

play.com bundles were sold out because they were 284 pounds (using a discount voucher). game.com price for the bundle is 320 hence they aren't selling. rip-off game.com strikes again. i try not to buy something from game unless i can help it.
people were prepared to pay more than 300 pounds for wii before xmas so i don't think this argument is 100% persuasive.
i however do agree that a wii price will come soon.
i also heard that a guy in croydon got attack by a fat bloke wielding some krispy kreme whilst queueing for wii fit.

sony missed a trick by getting rid of the 60gb. sales are good but i think they would have been a lot better in all regions if the 60gb was still around. i wonder if the 60gb will be re-introduced in europe and japan.

the game is not really nextgen but for multiplayer pick up and go mayhem it is actually great fun

sonarus, of course visuals will improve. bear in mind we have more interactive features (buildings, trees, water etc) which we never had before. the lighting is already better as is the particle effects. i think it is abit naive to believe that visuals won't improve. this is a day one purchase for me since i just sold my motorstorm one on ebay.
