how many xbox and hd dvd owners own sony bravia lcd tvs? even xbox buyers can benefit sony as they switch to hidef tv/gaming.
sony is making a lot of money on lcds. it's gaming division still needs to do better than it's historical track record though. i think the gaming division has definitely turned a corner profitability wise.
actually OPM are very critical to a lot of PS3 games. check their reviews of all the ps3 exclusives if you don't believe me.
and all the ps3 games are tested by the gametrailer team in specially constructed scientific "immersive gaming studios" to give that ultra hidef gaming experience:

ps3 owners should count themselves lucky.. if GRID was available for the wii then i have no doubt in my mind that gametrailer would have used wii GRID footage (captured using a vhs camcorder) and claimed it to be original undoctored PS3 direct feee hdmi gameplay.
how can gametrailer say that the ps3 has bad crash dynamics when the video they showed actualy had a ps3 footage dressed up as an xbox footage showing what they claim to be as an example of great crash dynamics - something they claim the ps3 version doesn't have? sony should stop relationships with them for a reason. in this case the reason to embargo gt is a fair one because you don't feed the hand that bites you.
i have been saying this over and over again about how rotten the game journalism industry is.
this industry is rotten to the core and has many parallels with the dotcom analysts during the internet bubble. when you mix big money, big business and easily corruptible "reviewers" you will get abuse of trust and abuse of position.

true gamers will both look forward to BOTH resistance2 and gears. i am actually impressed by gears. there is good innovation in effects and gameplay. competition is great. if some fanboys had it their way there would be no competition and we would all still be playing wolfenstein on clapped out 8bit consoles.

well if you really do own a ps3 then you must definitely own a 60gig version. if you really want to sell it then there is a lot of demand for the 60gig version and i doubt you lose a lot of money on it. you will probably have lost 10 percent which is unheard of for a one year piece of electrical item let alone a secondhand games console.
