LOL @ AngryXbot - Trust me friend, I'm a very happy 360 customer. One of the reasons I like the 360 better is because I like its style of game play better. It's more of a western themed console (hey, it's from the west, go figure). Not to mention, I think most games look and run better on the 360. I like the way the handle with the controller better too. I was never a fan of the PS controller.
The whole 2008 lineup issue is your opinion. Gears 1.5? Wait and see my friend. ...
There's at least one good game coming out each month until the end of the year. I will miss SC this year, but not that much. The end result will be a good thing.
"Do you know what happens when you rush things? RROD happens!!!"
-- You're absolutely right. There is a bright side to MS rushing out the 360 to market though. Thanks to all of the negative RROD press, you can bet that future Xbox designs will be put through the ringer before being rushed to market. MS deserved to have to set aside a billion bucks for rushing out the 360. Thank God my 360 runs cool to the touch and is kept well-ventilated. Mine was bought in late Ja...
But the difference is that programmers don't have to learn a whole new type of code to program for with the 360. The sole reason the 360 games are delayed is because they simply are behind schedule or want to change the way the game is, not because of programming issues. When the games finally get here, the added quality of the titles will be worth the wait. Not to mention, it just makes next year's lineup that much stronger!
EDIT: To the person who disagreed with me, please ...
Splinter Cell Conviction is supposed to be a pretty big title. Releasing it as is and having it suck or not be fun would be getting owned, Homicide. After all, who wants another Lair? Having games be chronically delayed because the console is difficult to program for would be a problem, but the occasional delaying of a 360 exclusive for quality assurance reasons is no big deal.
Yeah it sucks that it won't be out anytime soon, but the end result is that we will get a much bett...
Could someone explain exactly how MS are like Nazis? I know that they would have a monopoly over everything if they could, but they are not unique in that aspect. Virtually every other company wants that too. Whether it's Comcast, Verizon, WWE in the wrestling industry, or even Sony itself, the CEO's of every company want to eliminate the competition.
So please, I'm BEGGING someone to please post a convincing argument that make MS worthy of being equated to a regime that kill...
He handled it pretty well. Stupid Hungarian douche with his dumb accent.
I like this one better.

Actually the graphics look amazing, it's just that they're a bird's eye view for the most part because it's a strategy game.
I love Halo, but I don't think I'll get this one just because RTS games aren't my thing.
The graphics are top notch. This will be a GOTY candidate, just like the first one.
What do the initials XMB stand for?
You stop, retard. You put your jammies on every night and pray that MS will leave the gaming business before mommy tucks you in, but it won't happen. The fact is, MS is here to stay, and not everyone wants the Sony experience. Sorry. I'll take Xbox any day of the week. Better games, better controller, better Live service, an awesome movie download selection, etc.
June 12th will come and go, and MGS4 will rock the gaming world and boost Sony sales. Then November will come an...
But the point is that the 360 has a wide variety of games. Go look at the games on GameSpot.
Gears is third person, not first.
I agree that it's foolish to spend money on a bunch of crap games, but crap games are the only ones you listed on the 360, yet you listed some of the better games for the PS3. You could've just as easily listed AAA titles for the 360 or crap games for the PS3, like Gundham.
By the way, there's more top notch games and "good gaming" on the 360 than the PS3.

Many different genres? The 360 has them too. Uncharted? See Tomb Raider. MGS? Splinter Cell.
I think he was talking about XBLA games first of all, and second, he never said that the 360 is hitting the graphical limit. Saying "I think we've really pushed where we can go graphically" is not saying that it's reached its limit.
This gen will never look like you're "playing a movie", but the graphics will improve some. I don't know how far graphics can be pushed past the likes of Gears 2, KZ2, and RE5 though, at least with this generation of hardware. ...
But then everyone would be stuck with Sony's lackluster games and controller.
Kleptic, like I said I know that they want to be a monopoly, and in fact they pretty much were for awhile, but they don't deserve to be called Nazis. MS was in the right industry at the right time. If Sony or other companies could pull political maneuvers to place themselves as a monopoly and block competition, they would. But Sony could never be a monopoly in games, entertainment hardware, or movies because there's too much competition. MS was smart enough to get Windows on 90% of comput...
