1. Resistance has a metacritic score of 86, which is dead on with a GS score of 8.6/10.
2. Many websites gave NG2 8's or 9's. Saying they would give NG2 a 6, ESPECIALLY when they gave NGSigma a 9 is absurd.
3. Uncharted has a metacritic score of 88, so 8.0 is in the ballpark.

"Research, and lots of it". The 360 controller ABSOLUTELY deserves to be #1. Whether or not it is the best is of course an opinion, but whether or not it's the most ergonomically correct controller ever made is not. It is a fact that it fits the hands better than any other controller out there.

That's cool. I think Sony makes great stuff, and if MS ever stopped making Xboxes, or if I truly thought that Sony put out better games, I'd switch. I'd have to learn to like PS's controller though. I'm sorry, I just don't like it. It doesn't feel natural to me, but I'm sure I'd get use to almost any controller over time.

Yeah, it's ashame that people have to say that stuff, but MS tries to take steps so you don't have to experience it. You have the ability to mute the people you're playing with, so that can solve a lot right there.
I rarely play multiplayer unless it's with friends, so I have yet to experience it. But then again, I don't take that talk seriously, so I'd probably just laugh.

What happened that makes people think that GameSpot is pro MS and anti-Sony? Did the scores of a PS3 game get jipped? I'm looking at the scores from highest to lowest and they look fair to me. COD 4 looks a little low at a 9.0, but that was for both systems. I know about the Kane and Lynch fiasco, but how does that tie in with a MS conspiracy?

You know I like you and think you're hilarious Sniper, but I gotta tell you that your facts are a little askew. The interface has changed with every update, especially last fall's update, which was the most drastically changed. The interface is very organized and polished.
I've always had good luck whenever I needed to call MS customer service. I don't know whether this is isolated or common, but if that crap ever happened to me, I'd consider switching consoles, even if I don't like the game selection as much.
The 360 controller is a BIG reason I went with the 360. I have never like the PS controller that hasn't been updated for three gens now. They could at least update the trigger buttons to make it feel like your pressing down a real trigger, like the 360 controller. They could also make it fit the hands better, and make the top of the joysticks concave instead of convex.

I don't see any need to use anything other than Firefox. It's simply the best browser out there. Occasionally I might need to use IE when Firefox isn't 100% compatible with a web page, but for 99.5% of my browsing needs, Firefox can't be beat.
