I think you guys missed my point. I was simply pointing out that no service is perfect.
...then a bunch of Sonytards would be crucifying it saying how worthless and defective the service is. See, nothing works perfectly all of the time. At least Live had an excuse for going down - it's more popular than MS realized.
Are you a 15 year old kid who's just being a prick, or are you really that retarded? If you're a 15 year old prick, then kudos, you're pretty funny.
I'm not sure what the sales ratio will be, but more copies of GTA IV are likely to be sold on the 360, like most other multi-platform games. I know GTA is a PlayStation staple, but now the 360 will one-up PS3 in the GTA category, with more sales and exclusive content.
MGS4 will be a hit, and an awesome game, but to hit a million on day one would be quite a feat. I don't think that MGS3 was exactly a super blockbuster, although MGS4 looks like it's in a different league than MGS3. MGS4 is more western - over the shoulder view, camera control. It will kick ass. Maybe one day if I actually get a PS3, I'll play it.
A little bitter?
The 360 version looked slightly better graphics-wise, but this cements it. The PS3 has more out of the box features, but when it comes down to game performance, which is the steak of gaming, the 360 is just better. The fact that you don't have to install games on the 360 and they still perform the same, if not better, says a lot.
I have two saved games, and both of them have been beaten. So if I go to play either game, it starts me off right before the end. How will that work? Will I have to start over to experience the DLC?
1. wireless controller
2. included hard drive with console
3. live, network gameplay on console
All things done by Microsoft before Sony and the rest of the competition! The most shameless display of copying in recent videogame history was Sony including the gimmicky tilt feature in their controller in response to the Wii buzz, even at the expense of the rumble feature!
I'd rather them delay it and get it perfect than release it before it's ready.
Who cares about the resolution. It's upscaled anyway. I played the demo on my 360 (on a Samsung 40" 1080P), and I didn't notice any jaggies. It looked absolutely stunning.
What's your excuse then for the 360 version looking slightly better?
People who have been using the PS controller the past few gens will like it better because that's what they're used to. However most people who have not used either will tell you that the 360 controller is better after using both. It is the most ergonomically correct, and simply the best controller ever made. It is one of the reasons why I chose the 360 over the PS3. You get used to it almost immediately.
PS3 took a lot of criticism over the "boomerang" controller t...
"Shut Down Feature. Shut down is featured in 2 places on the Xbox 360. You can, of course, turn it off from the power button, using a media remote or by DISCONNECTING THE POWER."
--What kind of a retard would turn off their 360 by unplugging it?
@ Evil Zhuk - A little bitter eh?
Looking at this list reminds me why I went with the 360. Although, it's nice to see that numbers 3 and 2 have become multiplatform franchises.
If anybody keeps buying regular batteries for their 360 controller, it is just foolish. You can buy the play and charge kit, or better yet, buy the 15 min. Energizer battery recharger and some rechargeable batteries. I always have some spare batteries charged, and charge the drained batteries in only 15 minutes.
Not only does the 360 controller have the best batteries, but it is the most ergonomically correct too. It feels way more natural in your hand than the PS controller. ...
That was great.
That was great.
From what I read about most games, 360 loading times are quicker, and the games run smoother, despite not having to be installed. It's just the architecture of the two systems, I guess.
