Why doesn't everyone quit arguing and realize that there are advantages to both.
If you have a BluRay player, then you can have a physical format that requires no downloading. If you have the download service, then you have a choice of hundreds of movies that you can download in mere minutes. On a cold, rainy night, when you don't feel like going to the video store, it can come in handy, believe me.
In case you've forgotten, there's a little game calls Gears of War 2 coming out in the fall. Not to mention, a price cut will spike sales. Advertising the fact that the only place to enjoy the full GTA IV experience will be on the 360 wouldn't hurt either.
I've said all along that the PS3 will sell more in the end. The PS2 had such a large fan base compared to the Xbox. MS is the new kid on the block, they have an uphill battle to fight, especially in Japan.
However, Sony will not enjoy the complete domination of the market like they had with the PS2. That is a victory in itself for MS. MS has the money and the power to stick around, and maybe eventually win. The 360 has already become profitable for MS.
"The Sony contingent has enjoyed nothing but the best games that money can offer" -- That's not what EVERY game rankings website and video game magazine say. Sorry, but the 360 wins in the games department, hands down. For quite awhile, the 360 had more games rated 8.0 out of 10 or higher than the PS3 had games period.
Sorry, not everyone prefers the PS3 or its game catalog. I don't want a bunch of lackluster Jap games that have heroes that look like they're posin...
@robbo - It's nice to see someone like yourself who is a fan of the PS3, yet you aren't calling people Xbots or retards for liking the Xbox. If only we were all like that, then maybe there would be intelligent discussions on this board.
I never said it did, retard. The 360 will have the better game library until the next Xbox comes out. MS competes harder for exclusives than Sony does. Not to mention they steal Sony flagships like GTA and DMC.
LOL, that's pretty funny. But you know that if GOW were a PS3 exclusive that you'd say it's the best game ever, don't pretend you wouldn't.
Have you heard that Sony is changing the name to Home to better suit the lifestyle of its fans? The Sony fan on the left in the picture is sporting the new logo.
"Having identified a number of factors which can cause general hardware failures indicated by three red flashing lights on the console, Microsoft has made improvements to the console and has enhanced its Xbox 360 warranty policy for existing and new customers."
That's all you need to know. Now you guys can go back to playing your PS3's while us 360 owners go back to enjoying the BEST gaming library of the new gen. and enjoying the SUPERIOR versions of multiplatform game...
I don't really see the point of it coming to the PS3 anyway. Mass Effect is designed to be played as a trilogy. Sure you can start with ME2, but to get the true experience, you need to have your saved progress from ME1 on your HDD. That way, when you play ME2, you can truly see the consequences of your decisions in the first game.
"PS3 IS GETTING EVERYTHING. OURS AND YOURS HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH"
You mean like how the 360 got Devil May Cry 4, Grand Theft Auto IV, and is getting Resident Evil 5? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, lame laugh, lame laugh, AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA.
I'm reporting him every chance I get. I wouldn't care if he would at least contribute his opinion, but all he's doing is taking up space on the threads.
The difference between Turning Point and Lair is that Turning Point didn't have the hype or the expectations that Lair did. Lair was supposed to be an AAA exclusive for the PS3, possibly a Game of the Year candidate. Turning Point didn't have those expectations, but it was a disappointment nonetheless. It has a cool premise, but things just didn't pan out.
These things happen sometimes. There will be huge disappointments and there will be unexpected gems.

Just as AngryTypingGuy suspected. DarkSniper is still a brainwashed douche.
"PLAYSTATION® 3's Rainbow Six is clearly superior in all aspects." -- Except for textures, graphics, framerate and online capabilities.
WAITB3YOND
And the 360 is still outperforming the PS3.
Brag about recent sales all you want to. I'll enjoy the BEST gaming experience offered today with my 360.

I noticed that you like to talk in the third person, kind've like The Rock. Maybe you can call yourself The Douche.

I agree with you for once.
I liked Captain Lou Albano as Mario better.

This game will probably be like the first one and come to the PS3 a year later, with extra content, but worse framerate and graphics.
The 360 outperforms the PS3 in terms of graphics, texture and framerate, and you're calling it last gen? What does that make the PS3?
By the way, please explain how the console with the highest attach rate (due to having the best game library) collects dust.
