So MS and Sony are in a see-saw battle around 250K per month, while the Wii sells 720K in a month. Unbelievable. I'll always love Nintendo, but you have to wonder how many of those people will quickly get bored with the Wii and realized that they should've gotten one of the other two.

1. It's "mind boggling", not "mind bottling".

2. You're right, many Sony fanboys worship the PS3 a little too much, and won't ever admit that there are pros and cons to owning either console. They also will disagree with any post that contains anything remotely negative about the PS3, which shows how big of babies most of them are. Also, some of them like to pretend they are Sony executives. And at least one of them talks in the third person.

No problem. A previous poster on page 2 of this comments section posted this link: http://forums.maxconsole.ne...

If you look at the third asterix from the top is says "* Some of the cutscenes will be very long. Apparently Kojima mentioned some of them will extend to around 30 minutes in length."

To be clear, I'm not slamming the game. I loved Metal Gear Solid, and there's ...

It mentioned in the MGS4 Boot Camp article that some of the cutscenes are around 30 minutes in length. Ouch. I know that long cutscenes are a staple for the Metal Gear series, but 30 minutes is too long.

Actually there is a little bit of truth to RealTimeWeaponChange's comment. While the PS3 itself won't negatively impact sales, its lack of install base compared to the other two will. On the flip side, I'm guessing that MGS4 will affect the PS3's install base in a very good way.

Nintendo needs the Zelda's and the Mario's. They carry the brand. It is Nintendo's best interest to try to close the gap of 3rd party support.

I'll always love Nintendo, but these days I'd rather go with Microsoft first, Sony second, simply because Nintendo has mostly crappy third party games aimed at casual gamers and kids. MS and Sony have a much, much better selection.

Kojima seems like a perfectionist with unrealistic expectations. MGS4 will be a GOTY candidate for sure, but Kojima will always wish he could've done a little bit more.

Looks like an awesome game, maybe I'll have the chance to play it one day if I ever buy a PS3 (doubt it). Oh well. But nevertheless, I hope all of you PS3ers enjoy it.

"WTF? Why is Army of Two in there? You do realize it's multi-platform, right?

That's what you get for sniffing paint. I guess I don't blame you. If I only had a PS3 and nothing else, I'd need to find something to do while I wait too."

BURN! Bubbles for you, Demon.

Yeah, I remember going to Walmart and seeing signs that MS was offering replacements to consoles manufactured in 2005. If you have one of those super-early 360's (pre-2006), I'd get that power brick replaced.

ShadowFlare, take a look at the last Splinter Cell game that came out for both consoles. One version looks and plays significantly better than the other. Guess which one...

(To be fair though, that was awhile ago. More recent multi-platform games look identical for the most part, except for the most minor of differences).

Why wouldn't they? I haven't heard of too many of the newer consoles breaking down. But whether they do or they don't, how do any of us really know unless we see official numbers?

One other question: MS had to set aside a BILLION dollars for faulty 360's. Why would they not make modifications before manufacturing new ones? It's funny how Sony fanboys like to pretend that MS will just go about its business without correcting the problem. Imagine if Sony did that when it was ha...

You talk as if you are Ken Kutawhatever himself. You must like to pretend and role play a lot. You probably also play Dungeons and Dragons with a bunch of other greasy kids who have never kissed a girl in your parent's basement, don't you?

"I'm British. Not some McDonalds hoggin overweight american :("

No, you are an idiot who talks like a sissy, drinks tea, refers to cigarettes as "f@gs" and has bad teeth.

I agree with your tastes in gaming, but lay off the American bashing (by the way, I don't dislike British people, I'm just going along with the whole negative stereotype thing).

Seeing that makes me want to go back and play Oblivion again. I love that game. Definitely one of the best of the new gen so far.

360 fanboys aren't the ones who pretend to be high profile executives from a video company, and they're not the ones who end every post with "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHA".

Why in the blue hell was "Leisure Suit Larry: Magna *** Laude" censored? When you graduate magna cum laude, you graduate with honors. It's a real term.

The sex may have been toned down in the Aussie version, but that's ok because in the American and European version, Niko doesn't have a boomerang or a kangaroo companion, so it evens out.
