Jumping Flash is the only platformer I have ever cared for.
I bought a launch PS3, I put 1 PS2 disc in it to see if BC worked, it did, I never used it again.
If they put BC in PS4 now, I think I would have a similar experience.
The light bar works really well if you implement it properly. Playing Metro in a darkened room with the light flickering in sync with the faltering lights on screen was really atmospheric.
I think it's a great addition personally.

I take it you've never played it then (just gazed in awe at the replays and photo mode).
I wanted to watch the trailer but the guy speaking has the most irritating voice I have ever heard. I can't watch it because if I do his voice annoys me to the point of wanting to kill people (I have certain "issues", I know).
O.T. I do hope this title turns out well. I (like most) was really excited by the initial reveal, but my interest has waned somewhat since the subsequent trailers (for obvious reasons).
November 2013 (PS4 release date) is 1 year and 8 months ago, not 2 1/2 years.
I know that they have been looking at graphene based screens and tech, I don't know how viable it is for mass production at present, but you can have flexible, foldable electronic devices (amongst countless other potential developments).
If they are the first with this tech and use it in a compelling way, those numbers won't be far fetched at all.

Nintendo are completely out of touch. They make hardware that nobody wants (WiiU), then blame the consumer for not understanding it.
They produce software titles that nobody wants (new metroid), then have a go at their fans for reacting in the wrong way to it.
