More power would have ensured multiplatform support.
Not everyone likes kiddy-orientated games. Even those that do don't want a console that has 95% cutesy games on it.
Cutesy graphics games should be no more than 10-25% of a consoles output if you want to sell in huge numbers.
How about some games for grown-ups Nintendo?
Well they haven't nailed what was wrong with the WiiU, so that doesn't bode well for future consoles.
To put the blame on tablets becoming prolific is nonsense and creates concerns about Nintendo's future plans.
He says that they were hoping to sell the system on the uniqueness of the tablet controller, essentially saying that again they were hoping to sell on the back of a gimmick. What is worse is the fact that tablets were already pretty ubiqui...
If you are so concerned with comfort, perhaps you should learn to spell it correctly?
No, the next big thing is graphene, its going to change everything from computer chips and batteries to global water supplies and more.
Insanely powerful computer chips will be produced at a fraction of the cost of today's, huge capacity batteries that charge in seconds, and a whole host of new and exciting developments. VR may be big, but it will pale in comparison when regarded in terms of human development.
I don't think it needs a big, established IP at all. You'd have to make a standard version of the game or face losing 99% of its customer base, that would inevitably create a compromise.
People would also be inclined to think "well the VR version looks great and all, but I'll save some serious cash if I just buy the standard version, it is the same game after all"
What they need is a killer ap that is only available (and possible) with the intro...
Well, it isn't likely to be the same game now is it?
If people were getting the WiiU version on PS4/X1 they wouldn't care about it, but they'll likely be getting a superior version without the constraints of 3rd rate hardware to hinder it.
The real reason for all the interest however, is down to the fact that this has come completely out of the blue in the minds of most gamers.
All newly announced games get scrutinised, some gamers are int...
Yeah, when I was stranded on a desert island, I would have died had there not been randomly placed medikits.
Survival should be about creating what you need to survive from your surroundings. Neither medikits or self-regen are acceptable. She should be gathering plants and making poultices etcetera.
Polls and surveys are not accurate. You'd be amazed at how many people are all over something until it comes to parting with money.
@RPGrinder
Nobody agrees with you, in fact I don't believe you believe your own statement. Unless you have serious mental/fanboy problems that is.
Die-hard Nintendo fans are outraged en-mass at the pathetic showing by Nintendo but RPGrinder thinks it stole the show.
For that to be possible it would have to be one of the worst E3's ever, yet it has been widely regarded as the best games conference anyone can remember.

She collects machine parts and scrap metal and her name is Alloy (sorry Aloy).
It's more of a cheesey pun than an original name. A bit like calling a lumberjack "Woody".
Why take all that time and effort to produce PS1/PS2 backwards compatibility when next to nobody wants to play PS1/PS2 games anymore?
Since they are already massively outselling their rivals without it, no it isn't necessary.
Microsoft needed to do something to add value to their offering in the eyes of gamers.
The thing about b/c is it does sell consoles to owners of the previous generation, even if 95% of them never use it.
So Iwata still owes an apology then.
I bought the last version on a whim when it was £8 on the PlayStation store. I actually really enjoyed it (although I wouldn't pay full price for it.
It's quite a unique racing game.
Oh no, no toy car to play with, what will I do?
These editions are designed to part fools from their money, you should all be glad its cancelled.
It's called the Last Guardian, so there's a fairly good chance there aren't too many about. I'm guessing just the one (though there used to be more).
Also I feel that the "Guardian" is perhaps some kind of protector of something (just a hunch)./s
No, I agree with that. It wasn't an intentional thing, but it could have been.
If one person or a group of people in the company wanted to make a few quid in a hurry, they could easily have done so by these very means, so it should at least be investigated.
There are billions of people out there all with their own opinions. It is quite literally impossible to produce anything at all without upsetting someone for some reason.
It looks very similar game to the 2014 version. I picked it up for £8 on sale as I was intrigued as to how it would play.
I actually enjoyed it far more than I expected. It is a niche title for sure, but the hour long races and tactical emphasis are really quite refreshingly different.
