I don't think people would switch to a Nintendo machine just because it was more powerful than its contemporaries.
Nintendo consoles have a completely different vibe to them than other manufacturers. You can either adopt to their ethos or you can't (personally I have never gelled with Nintendo products).
If the next Nintendo consoles were 20x more powerful than PS4, I still wouldn't consider getting one, not for a split second.

Gamer Gate was really about people expressing low-life, scumbag views as if they were justified rational thoughts.
It's the same with Brexit and Trump to an extent. The bigots and fascists who had been hiding their predudice for years became emboldened and felt able to vent their ignorance as if it were legitimate.

Both MS and Crytech are aware that Crytech holds the Ryse IP. If MS wanted to buy it don't you think it would have occurred to them to ask? If they had asked do you not think Crytech would have agreed (given their current position)?

Why did they have 7 Studios in the first place? They aren't the most prolific devs out there. Their output is relatively small, it seems completely illogical.
