Most 3DS owners are kids who simply won't be able to afford a switch.
The switch will be significantly more expensive, it's a different thing entirely.
@Hellothere
You are aware that Apple is THE most profitable company in the world aren't you?
That is profit, not turnover.
To say that Nintendo doesn't do business like Apple isn't a complement at all. Every company wants to be as profitable as possible and Apple leads the World in that respect.
Your comment is naive to say the least.

MS got confused as to what the remake should be and pulled the plug. Now it's just a remaster.
They commissioned a multi-player only game (against the Devs wishes), then changed their mind and asked for a single player element at no extra cost (6 hour single player campaign), commissioned an unrelated team to produce a CGI video (without telling the Devs or using any game assets), then some Ms tool announced it would be a 30+ hour jrpg (without telling the Devs, or giving any extra cash).
No wonder they are just doing a remake now, they haven't got a clue what t...
I wonder if the Devs have been told this time or if MS get another company to create a CGI video using none of the game's assets (like last time).
Maybe a cut down and gimped version using some of the tech, certainly not a fully fledged CPU.
But they don't have those games to show. Scorpio is required at E3, otherwise they'll have next to nothing.
@Kingthrash
Only Mario is recognised outside the gaming community. That same Grandma wouldn't have the faintest idea what Zelda or Metroid were.
Mario, Sonic, Pacman and Space Invaders are the only universally known videogame franchises.
@Neonridr
If you rely so heavily on your exclusives, yet don't produce enough of them that a whole year is devoid of any, you have a big problem.
Annual releases of these franchises would be bad, but not having enough of them to fill the gaps is worse.
@FishyFingers
Guildford is the main centre of UK game development (MM, Hello Games etc.), and is not that far from Cambridge. There are plenty of development companies in the UK (not necessarily Sony owned).
Expect more UK studios to close because of Brexit.
Who wants to invest in developers based in a country with such an uncertain future?
I hope not, it's still one of my most anticipated titles for PS4. I want this game.
I bought Jazzpunk in a sale (having not heard of it before), the platinum is so easy, you could get it in an hour or two if you wanted.
They could always have stepped up the production with extra resources (developers, money and time) rather than bail out on a project that they obviously believed in.
They commissioned the game and failed to back their own judgement when it came to the crunch.
The simple truth is Microsoft are terrible to work with.
Forever shifting goalposts, changing key game features and demanding more and more content than was ever in the original contract without paying a penny extra.
Maybe they should cancel all their exclusives, if cancelling one is good for gamers imagine how great it would be to kill them all off.
So it loses its USP on the Xbox version. Like a VR game without VR support.
No they didn't (I know I didn't). A handful of comments equates to "everyone" nowadays.
The game had its own team. They aren't playing musical chairs and working on all projects with the same people.
If it was £50, even I would have bought one and I have no interest in it whatsoever.
Everyone has a price that would persuade them to buy it.
