It does make sense to complain. The price was increased seemingly to accommodate CoD and then they were given MW3 - one of the most rushed, poorly rated, and easy-to-find-used-for-$20 games in the whole series. I'd be mad too if used GamePass.
Im with ya Profchaos. I've put way more hours into Declassified than Vanguard.
Its weird how hit and miss these games are. MW and MW2 were honestly amazing - solid length, good set pieces, memorable close quarters moments, great characters and acting, pushed boundaries on a technical level, multiplayer was complete, and - not sure about now but at least for the first little while there weren't any meme costumes in the multiplayer.

If this game does well - which is won't - then they'll backtrack that statement and add lootboxes or some bs just like so many other games.
If it bombs - which it will - the only DLC you'll be getting will be skins and nonsense held back from the main release specifically to drip-feed DLC.

If somebody were to go buy their first PS5 today and wanted a single player game, I think the usual arsenal of Ratchet, Returnal, Demons Souls, Spiderman, Horizon, Last of Us, etc will usually be the first choice. Most likely for the entire system's life. Likewise, in 7 years from now im sure Astro Bot and Wolverine will still be getting scooped up. Hype phases always die off, but the good games continue to be played often forever

Cold Ward, Vanguard and Modern Warfare 3 were all just terrible. I somehow just keep buying them in hopes that I'll get that solid oldschool campaign and multiplayer only to be let down every time. I just want a game without Cheech and Chong unicorn limited time microtransactions

Yeah. If there's no exclusives why would anybody want to spend residual fees for something as basic and free as multiplayer while also vetoing cheaper accessories, changing graphics settings, mods, Steam sales, etc.

I mean, its a catchy headline but at the same time, its pretty obvious haha. There literally isn't a single XBox Exclusive that isn't on PC, and there *are* PS exclusives that aren't on PC. A PS5 and PC combo really is by far the best thing you can do this generation. I honestly have zero idea why anybody would ever buy one of the XBox consoles at this point.

I'm with ya MrNinosan. Big budget single player platformers made by people who actually want to make fun games (rather than provide the publisher with an endless supply of currency) have become devalued with this generation's unbelievably annoying need for games that last months or years. All I can think of are Ratchet and Clank, Mario Odyssey and now Astro Bot - two of which are probably the best and most memorable games I've played this gen. Astro Bot seems to live up to it too....
From everything we've seen, it's not like Insomniac is being forced to make Marvel games - it's clearly a good partnership that results in good games. They're still making Ratchet games anyway which is what really matters

I played this in RPCS3 last year and it looked exactly like this. That's not a bad thing - game is absolute gold and deserves a second chance, but worth mentioning that is an option
Meh. Mad respect to them for not only fixing it, but also making possibly the best looking path-traced PC game still to this day.
I bought it day 1 and didn't even finish it cause it just wasn't for me - but whenever i get a 40 (or 50) series GPU i'll be heading back in. I aint even attempting the path tracing with my 2080 Super lol
