Motorstorm Arctic Edge, PT, Scott Pilgrim, Marvel VS Capcom 2, every Nintendo DSi game, Outrun Arcade, etc etc etc etc - they all cant be redownloaded even if you bought them. Even if you have a physical disc, you can't play a playable version of Too Human or Motorstorm anymore since the updates were pulled and they're both a bit of a mess without the update. I don't trust the console digital marketplace after I've watched my digital purchases disappear and get beaten to death...

Truly the peak of PlayStation menu designs, features, and single player games.

Whoa another rainbow road i definitely didn’t see that one coming

I sold mine for around 250 shortly after it got pulled.
I don't regret it. Seems to be worth about the same these days

oh word my bad. Makes sense

The only reason they do it is to give very tiny inconveniences to the modding community. I'm surprised they even still bother. They haven't even done this to the Vita in quite a while

I am standing up for what I need. I need these features for video editing and its definitely very nice for gaming. The only reason to be against DLSS is a totally insane "I hate ALL things with AI in the title because I LOVE art!!!" proposition. If you have an RTX card and don't use DLSS or DLAA, you don't know what you're doing.

Chris, you're talking about using machine learning to increase the resolution of games - to a point where it looks bette...

Then go buy an AMD card. I don't care what you do lol that's the magic of PC gaming - you can choose. DLSS doesn't add latency by the way - but frame gen does.

The industry is clearly heading in this direction either way though. You're going to be left behind fighting a hopeless war where you play worse looking versions of games for your protest that will inevitably fail. NVidia is the largest company on the planet other than Walmart

Then turn off DLSS and DLSS Frame Gen then lower your settings to what your card can do at native res if you really want

Personally, I'm gonna turn both on and enjoy better looking and better performing path traced games at 4k/120 but you do you man

Bro what are you talking about? The GTA6 footage was a demo build that was multiple years old.

You clearly didn't watch the Transformers footage cause it looks to be near completion. Hopefully we get the history of what happened to it at some point

I know for a fact that I won't be able to fight the urge to overpay for one of these on eBay when the opportunity arises. God I hate myself

They would make profit if they charged you. Hell, Nintendo somehow found a way to trick people into paying a yearly subscription for an emulator.

Either way, they'd make money on game sales.

388d ago 9 agree1 disagreeView comment

I mean, they don't do it though. Would be nice if they did. inFamous, Killzone, Resistance, Ratchet, Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, Puppeteer, etc etc etc there's so much that they're just ignoring.

OnLive was actually first. I had it and it worked weirdly well for a game streaming service from 2010, at least according to my dumb child brain at the time

If GameStop accidentally marked a new release as a 25 cent game and I bought it, I'd get to keep it.

Keys should not be revocable especially if they've been redeemed. If Humble messed up, they should have to pay for the keys. That seems like common sense for incompetency. Otherwise they can theoretically just keep doing it to profit from the free advertising around major game releases.

Rare L from Valve here.

The minimum requirements are a 2080 simply because the game needs ray tracing. It was developed around ray traced AO and all the art was built around it.
The 2080 is 6 years old. If you have a card that's older than that, you need to upgrade if you want to play new released games. Devs cant keep baking in AO, shadows, developing reflection probes and all the other massive amounts of effort that non-RT games require just to appease people trying to play 2024 games on a 2017 GPU. I...

Spiderman didn't have a season pass in the traditional sense. It was 3 story missions included in the Deluxe edition, but with the ability to purchase them all separately as a pass. They were multi-hour stories as well - It's not like Insomniac has been constantly building on Spiderman, collecting money monthly from players in exchange for monthly content drops.

Hell, all the skins they released were free for everybody and there have been a ton of them.
Why...

It's almost as if people like good single player story driven games more than live service slop
