@Smellsforfree:
You must have been sleeping since 2010. Terrible PC ports are a rarity these days - unfortunately terrible PC ports go viral wheras amazing PC ports do not.

Playing Horizon, God of War, Cyberpunk, Alan Wake 2, HellBlade, Balders Gate, Elden Ring, Flight Sim, RE4, etc etc etc on PC with all ray tracing features enabled at 4K/60 or higher and features like DLSS to help you get there is infinitely better than playing on a console. Not to mention the ga...

I clicked this expecting a Shinobi PS2 style game too. We haven't had a good hack n slash game in way too long so i too was a bit disappointed when I saw it was a side scroller. Hopefully it's good though!
But man, "Cant stand the 2D crap"? Dismissing a game based on whether its 2D or not is absolutely wild and immature. You're missing out on SO many gems with that attitude.

I really like seeing game leaks out of curiosity, and to see how development progresses - but with the way some of the comments on here and in particular Wolverine take these videos as actual game footage I totally understand why developers don't want stuff like this seen by the general public.

Popsicle i'm not sure if you're talking about the leaked video in particular or just Crazy Taxi gameplay in general when you say it wont hold the attention of people for ...

Crazi Taxi looks phenomenal considering how old that build is

It was weirdly hard to find day one in Canada. I couldn't pre-order cause I got paid the day it came out - had to drive an hour and a half to a different Walmart find it. GameStop and Best Buy didn't get a single copy here

What the heck is even the point of GameStop if they don't sell games

Steam is really good at keeping things you're personally interested in up front and center - which is impressive considering just how much nonsense is technically buried on that storefront.
Whatever algorithm Valve uses is frankly unmatched

lol the weirdly fluctuating frame rate in this trailer was wild. Game looks sick though.

To be fair, I think it's a bad thing that Sony has spent such an enormously long time funding sad dad third person games, open world games and little else. As much as I love all the first party Sony stuff, it is starting to get a little stale.

Ratchet and Astro Bot are all we've got left in platformers. There are zero arcade racing games ala Motorstorm, zero first party shooters ala Resistance/Killzone, zero original Japanese productions ala Gravity Rush, ze- well z...

It's Thegamer.
There's 3 or 4 sites here that always post the most annoying clickbait garbage opinion pieces disguised as articles, and TheGamer is one of them.

Not quite mp1st bad imo, but close. Really wish N4G had a personal blacklist feature

Push it as hard as you want, it'll still never have anything path traced.
Games can only start coming out quicker if development gets easier, and the way the current method is (manually placing light probes, reflections, AO, baking in lighting, etc) is extremely expensive and time consuming for development. Plus it all just looks worse than - say, Path Traced Metro/Cyberpunk in every possible way. It really is time for new hardware asap. (You also likely won't see much in the...

@DarXyde

I mean, OP is a silly goose but tbh there really is a shortage . There aren't many if any AAA arcade racers on PS5. With Motorstorm and Burnout being dead, Forza Horizon is really leading the pack. Would be nice if that came to PS5. That and HiFi are the only first party Microsoft games I've had any interest in this gen

@Knightofelemia: Calm down. Are we fighting about fast food video games right now?

You did say "they made a few games about him in the past" implying that Microsoft made games about the clown in the box in the past, then listed a bunch of non-microsoft games for Nintendo consoles. Learn to write

Those were Burger King games but god damn Sneak King Remastered would be GOTY

Naaaaah even a 2080 can run AW2 and still look and play fantastic at 1080p. Or DLSS'd up to 1440p.

I consider that relatively mid range for gaming PCs, personally. Yeah a 1070 ain't gonna run it but anything even slightly recent will be alright

Alan Wake 2 is different than the rest of the timed exclusives. It's actually fully funded and published by Epic.

Like Fortnite, until they give up on their garbage store, it likely won't be coming to Steam. I'm still waiting though. That thing has to die eventually.

I've seen a lot of hate for this game. Every time I've seen it, I've thought it looks pretty sick and was honestly planning on grabbing it week one.

Not anymooooore. Will wait for a patched Complete Edition later.

Edit: just found out about the always online requirement. Will never play this actually

It does make sense to complain. The price was increased seemingly to accommodate CoD and then they were given MW3 - one of the most rushed, poorly rated, and easy-to-find-used-for-$20 games in the whole series. I'd be mad too if used GamePass.

Im with ya Profchaos. I've put way more hours into Declassified than Vanguard.
Its weird how hit and miss these games are. MW and MW2 were honestly amazing - solid length, good set pieces, memorable close quarters moments, great characters and acting, pushed boundaries on a technical level, multiplayer was complete, and - not sure about now but at least for the first little while there weren't any meme costumes in the multiplayer.

Then on the flip side yo...
