If all these games were in a bundle for the cost of one month of PS+, would you buy it?
Hell I wouldn't. Why I hate these sub services. You're just buying an unknown game bundle every month but then they lock away things that are free on other platforms like online and cloud saves so you get the added benefit of knowing you're paying money to be bent over and just straight up taken.
@Terry_B
Nah I think games are very different.
Unlike movies and music which are relatively inexpensive and significantly more convenient to have access to at all times, a game CONSOLE is very different. The games are expensive as hell, have extremely large file sizes, and the population of people that want to make sure all games are preserved for their original hardware is simply too large. Nobody cares about preserving their DVD copy of Bad Boys 2. Physical console media i...
This game became a bit of a catalyst for supporting physical media, even for people that buy digital. There's lots of games that are digital only but this one just so blatantly should have had a physical release that it feels like buying it digital is a vote for an all digital future. Any sort of reasoning would have helped sales a lot I think. A simple "guys, it doesn't fit on a BluRay disc" or "we're waiting for all the patches" tweet would have alleviated th...
Oh come on these stupid overproduced video game events are a dying breed and they always provide at least decently good memes, a fun 3 hour video to fastforward through and a silly "one single game that's the best out of all of them" that's entirely picked to spark controversy and debate. It's all so lame but it's still fun.
Even with adblock I loaded it tday and saw the "N4G Security Issue" post and tried to click it 20 times but there was an invisible full screen ad with a really tiny x blocking me from clicking the article lmao i love this site
@Angyobangyo
Honestly one of the sillier things people say. "Free on PS+" means if you have a PS+ subscription you get the game without any additional cost. VS Sales like "50% off with PS+"
(I don't pay for a single game subscription service btw. You can still call them "free on ___")
@just_looken: they're completely redesigned from the ground up. RE2 and 3 even moreso. It's completely valid that RE4 could win GOTY. Thats like saying MW3 2023 shouldn't have a chance to win GOTY (if it were actually good) simply because it shares a name and concept with an older release. Very silly logic tbh
Rift Apart for 30 bucks is pretty good. Everything else here is either barely a discount or has been free on PS+
Both the Vita and the PSVR2 are absolutely top of the line in their fields but absolutely failed to gain a mass market. I love both my Vita and PSTV as well as the PSVR2 but come on now you can't argue the software lineup on the VR2 isn't reminiscent of the Vita. I use my Quest WAY more unfortunately. There's just more to do on it and Steam is WAY cheaper for games
DF videos are typically absolutely amazing game reviews first and foremost. They have great intros, explain the mechanics well, tell you if they enjoyed it or not (I usually vibe well with John's games personally), and then they have the best tech breakdowns of a game's performance which is very very important to me. I want to know what settings to run at on PC, and on PS5 I wanna know if the 60fps mode runs well or not because if it doesn't... well I'll just get it on PC (If ...
I mean, probably - but this article sources bunch of tweets and none of the tweets have a single video or even image of an AI bot in a multiplayer map. I remember blacklisting this site a while back for stuff like this but i guess it still loads on my phone lol.
It's the internet. Anybody can search anything on twitter, find people that think the same random thing they typed and then post a blog with links to those baseless tweets and call it "players are reporting...
Half a million is a LOT of trees but this also really puts into perspective just how big of a deal it is that MrBeast birthed 24 million trees. Glad there are companies and rich peeps doing things like this
100% of your comments are embarrassingly negative and smell like an edgy 16 year old's gaming chair
Blame Epic, not Remedy. They have no say in the matter.
But seriously, go blame Epic. Go join the battle and spam their tweets forever til this gets an actual release.
You really shouldnt even attempt to run Alan Wake 2 on the Deck. You CAN even from the Epic Store but this and Returnal are absolutely unplayable on it lol
Can confirm. I bought a 360 just for AW1 and bought my first gaming PC when it was rereleased on Steam.
I REALLY want to play this but... I'll always refuse to support the Epic Store and large-scale games that so blatantly veto physical releases. You've gotta vote with your wallet sometimes and I'm happy so many people are taking a stand against this horrible release strategy
There's something hilariously broken about comparing something like AW2 to BG3. The idea that somebody can say one is better than the other when they're so extremely different is so absurd to me. Same with arbitrary numbers being averaged out to justify how good a game is. Why I genuinely hate these award shows lol
Yeah. I'm just patiently waiting for the Epic store to die like all the other launchers that have attempted to compete with Steam. I aint contributing to their survival nor am i risking my money by putting it into a store that I wish for the death of lol
Bit under 7000 people online on Steam right now
A battle pass, seasons, virtual currency. I've never actually been happy a game got cancelled til now.
I want to play a sequel to Factions too but not like this. This can burn in hell with the rest of the cash-grab games as a service games.
Remember when online gaming was actually just fun and you could hop into a match of Warhawk or Halo or CoD or Last of Us Factions or Uncharted online and not need to deal with all this?
