Burnout and Motorstorm were by far the best arcade racers. Forza Horizon is up there too.
Need For Speed is like that guy you used to kinda be friends with in high school who’s now a broke homeless drug addict but you still nod when you walk by, hoping he’ll get better. But he never will
There’s no way the Luna player base is more than 50,000 people. I’d love to see their numbers
I really don't remember the first game looking that low res but i suppose you just get used to it
@crazyCoconuts:
I dunno, man. I switched to Pop OS exclusively about two weeks ago and when it comes to games i've gotta say i'm a bit disappointed. I had to stop playing A Plague Tale Requiem because i was getting a fluctuating 15-20fps. On Windows I was around 45fps, letting me lock down a perfect 30. With RT. Even Ghost of Tsushima, which i had running at a perfectly locked 60 in Windows, chugged with Proton on the same settings. I had to turn on DLSS Frame Gen to achieve ...
Damn I honestly thought this was gonna be a lovingly crafted single player “GTA Clone” that you buy once, play through the story and it’s done. I was excited to have that again.
Oh well. We’ll see how complete and good it is at launch. Hate this GaaS bs
This is entirely untrue. There was never a 5000 dollar Kinect prototype that could somehow use a wider field of view to scan and import generated in-game items and advance AI by over a decade. Anybody that fell for this was a stupid moron child, myself included. Anybody that falls for this lie now is a stupid moron child who doesn't realize that these people *only* know how to lie.
It was in every movie, tv show, and game since Obama. You can't even win an Oscar without strict casting guidelines. I worked at an non-profit arts counsel that used to do nothing but concerts - but by the end nearly every event was a gay thing or a race thing. Had to say land acknowledgments before every show (Good luck pronouncing those names in front of a crowd). That's all we could get grants for. Its cool - just like how when the US Institute of Peace was shuttered the Tesla riot...
It’d be cool if they bought the Parappa licence and made Parappa 3 that’d be the real good timeline
I would prefer if Naughty Dog was working on an unreleased game without Neil Druckmann
CoD Mobile isn’t going anywhere - just Warzone.
Why? They’d just use the funding to funnel hundred of millions of dollars into fake NGOs that then funnel it into democrat pockets while doing zero cyber criminal defence work.
Then if anybody tried to defund them it’d be a whole thing with the mainstream media claiming that there will be endless cyber attacks. NGOs would then fund protest groups to attack anybody that supports defunding the government’s cyber attack defence branch and then it would turn out it was also bei...
That’s kangaroo bucks. Nobody knows what they’re worth
I really wish they'd do a Gran Turismo Horizon. There's not enough arcade racers these days.
It's pretty much just Forza Horizon.
This is why I almost exclusively use RPCS3 for games these days
The only thing holding GamePass back from being available on PS5, Switch and Switch 2 is time, and money.
There's a timeline where it truly is everywhere. I feel like the entire gaming subscription thing is (thankfully) backfiring and is on life support in this particular timeline though - and thank God for that.
Now just kill off Switch 2 games that don't have the game on the carts, give the PS6 a disc drive and we've got at least another generation of...
Literally the reason i have zero interest in the Switch 2.
I collected hundreds of physical games for the Switch. Even got the whole LimitedRunGames collection for the first 2 years. Love the Switch to death but if I need to be tied to a digital storefront, the only one I trust to let me keep my games forever is Steam. Steam Deck all the way this time - unless Nintendo proves me wrong and the vast majority of games are stored on the carts themselves like Mario Kart 9. Definitely wait...
So this is what we’ve become - approving giant ads as articles from TwistedVoxel, one of the top 5 most click bait blog websites on N4G?
It'll probably be VR exclusive with full body tracking sensors and a treadmill required to play
Yet Sony's consoles didn't increase in cost. Microsoft made 21 billion on XBox in 2024 and that's with their absurd 75 billion dollar purchase of Activision. Microsoft has 3.24 trillion dollars. They can afford to take a marginal hit on the cost of their consoles.
The only reason for the cost increase it to push people away from XBox and into their streaming system with GamePass. Same reason they increased the cost of the games. The extra hundred bucks on the console is m...
Lots of people use their VR headsets nearly exclusively as a Beat Saber machine
