I agree that there is no harm in a little competitive teasing, but racism and sexism is way beyond that. That is a completely different subject on it's own though.
I don't remember any moral stories in any of the Call of Duties. Unless the moral is to call people obscene names while playing online, then Call of Duty did their job.
Why does Capcom insist on spoiling every plot point in Resident Evil 6? At this point you can just watch all of the trailers and you will know the whole story of the game before it is released. This really irritates me.
Preaching to the choir my friend. Many of the people that buy this stuff are not really into games on the level that most of us are.
No Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 2, Dino Crisis, Syphon Filter, or Parasite Eve?
In all honesty though, it would be tough to pick just 8 of the best PS1 games, but I think Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil 2 should always have a spot on lists like these.
Hopefully this will show some people that the Wii doesn't just have party games. There is quite a bit of stuff for the core gamer on the console, and it is sad that there are gamers that don't realize that.
The graphics may be a little hard on the eyes at first, but the gameplay is still great. I don't think these have 'aged horribly'. Graphically, sure, but gameplay wise? Nope, and in the end that is what truly matters.
It's just proof that graphics don't make the game.
There is no right or wrong answer here. Believe it or not, but there are plenty of people that just want to kick back and play their game without getting frustrated with the difficulty.
I love a challenge in my games, I always set the difficulty to the highest setting when possible, but there are days when I don't want to deal with it. I just want to go through and and play the game without worrying about difficulty. It just depends.
I don't know, Twisted Metal doesn't seem like it would translate well into a movie, unless they go the slasher film route.
I think it would be more interesting, and twisted (ha), if they focus the movie on Sweet Tooth and how he came to be and his spiral down towards insanity.
But who knows, I might be pleasantly surprised if I keep expectations down way low.
Both Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are great franchises. Both have great characters, themes, and stories (yes Street Fighter has a storyline). That said, if I had to choose just one I would say Street Fighter. It's a tough call though.
Namco isn't lying on this one. Tekken has sold 41.4 million copies and Street Fighter is second with 33 million. Looks like all those releases didn't help none.
Why he delays Versus? Easy, to give people an excuse to buy the 13s.
Don't worry, I read the whole article. I'm just confused as to why the title here is "best worst". It seems like the author was disappointed with game, and I'm sad to hear that, but to each their own. (Also, didn't mean to sound combative in my previous comment).
Best worst game ever? I wouldn't say that. Does this guy even know what best worst would mean. Take a look at games that have bugs, bad graphics, finicky controls, and bad voice acting. Deadly Premonition and Earth Defense Force are examples of best worst games. They were great in spite of their issues.
The Last Story is a very solid game, it's not the best ever, but it is far from the worst. I would say The Last Story is slightly above average.

If by a little longer means TGS, then fine I can wait. However, I am getting this feeling that Wada is stealthily saying, "Versus is next-gen, here is more Lightning for you until then".
Seeing as how this is a visual novel, I sadly doubt it will make its way to the U.S. or Europe. Which is sad, I do like the anime and I would like to give this a try.
I will give Square Enix this, they are persistent. They will be damned if they don't see Lightning and the gang enter the upper echelon of Final Fantasy lore.
Anyways, it's the 3rd entry into a saga that many Final Fantasy fans have been disappointed by. I'm not surprised by the initial reaction. It is up to Square Enix to prove why this game is worth getting, and I think they will try that at TGS.
