It's funny how some people react. Mikami saw that Case 0 (the last true Resident Evil) did not have such a good reception, so he thought to inject some action into it to stay relevant.
However, we can agree that Capcom has gone just a tiny bit overboard with the action elements with Resident Evil 6.

I have bought new and used copies before. Sometimes there is not a new copy in, and I'll take the used one if I want the game bad enough. Other times it is tough to find a new copy of an older game that I want. I dare you to find a new copy of Valkyria Chronicles right now.
If it is a $15 difference, than yeah I'm buying used. A $5 difference is another story...
Shipped means more to Capcom, that is were all their revenue comes from.
Also, it is very hard to track actual copies sold by retailers to the customer. Retailers don't have to keep good track of those numbers, especially since they don't have to report them to Capcom.
In the world of video game numbers, shipped is all that is important.

It's a fun fighting game. It might not be as deep as Tekken or Street Fighter, but it is a lot of fun.
I think both Carl and Mika make good points. Obviously if you enjoy the classic Resident Evil games you are not going to be fond of 6. On the other hand, if have never played or enjoyed the classic ones then you might have a good time with this.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I think most of you guys have shipped and sold twisted. You see, Capcom makes their money on units shipped to the retailer. The retailer pays Capcom for Resident Evil 6, and they run to the bank, end of story.
Units sold is how much the retailer makes on the game when we buy it. All vast majority of our money goes to the retailer. Unless you buy Resident Evil 6 from the Capcom online store, they don't really care what happens. <...
In reality, it doesn't really matter how many is sold to the consumers. Publishers make all of their money from units shipped to the retailer, the only time they make anything on sales is if you buy it directly from then.
Bargain bins could be filled with Resident Evil 6 copies, it doesn't really matter to Capcom, they are already made bank.

Going by the Vita demo, the English voice overs were great.

From what I have played, Resident Evil 6 is falls between a 6-7 for me. I can't help but feel that score lower than a 5 are a knee jerk reaction to the new direction, and anything above a 7 is just blind fanboyism.
It really is not a bad game, it's just not that great either.

It's an article about Resident Evil 4 though, there is no need to throw out the fact you hate 5 or 6.
I'm not saying I don't agree with your stance, it is a shame they have moved to a more action oriented route, but let's just remember the good times for once.

I know that they can't restrict his right to work, but I'm sure in his contract they stated he could not endorse a competing console for an x amount of time.
If Sony can show that, then Lambert is guilt of breaching his contract.
