Ok, let's say I submitted my work to be reviewed by a large group of professors. Couldn't I just acknowledge the ones that praised my work, and to the ones that criticized me say "Well you're stupid, you don't get it"?
Shouldn't we be accountable to acknowledge the ones that criticize us more than the ones that praise us? Acknowledging criticism is what makes us improve our work. I know for a fact that if I could I would just listen to the profes...
And I get hurt whenever a professor criticizes a paper I worked hard on. You know what I do about it? Listen to their criticism and use it to improve on my next paper.
No game should get a free pass, no matter what region they come from. Thank being said, how can this guy say Japanese games get a free pass? Bug fests like Skyrim get GOTY awards, and Tales of Graces f gets criticized for being 'not innovative' enough.
There are too many variables to consider right now to even think if subscription based consoles is the way to go for next gen. All we can do is what and see what happens with the subscription 360.
XSEED has been one of my go to publishers for unique games this generation. The Ys series, Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Corpse Party, and now The Last Story.
I have no doubt that XSEED will bring Celceta to the states, they are one of the few companies that listen to their fans.
Risen 2 had the potential to be a very good game, but there were so many things that held it back.
RPGs and Fighting and the two genres that offer the most bang for my buck. However, it depends on how you play your games. I can only play a few hours of a Madden, but my friends will play it for the whole year.
That is an idea so crazy, that it would actually work. They already announced cross-buy and if they could nail down remote play, and some innovative cross-play ideas they have been talking about, that would be one of the greatest bundles ever.
Alan Wake did just fine on the 360.Remedy has said the they sold over 2 million copies of Alan Wake, and there is a downloadable 'sequel' of sorts on XBLA.
Lost Odyssey is definitely up there with one of the best RPGs released this generation. The mature storyline, the fun old-school combat system, the great soundtrack, Lost Odyssey is just a masterpiece.
It's a shame that these games weren't as popular. Deadly Premonition, Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, and Blue Dragon are some of the best games on the 360.
A free pass? Buggy games like Skyrim get released and gets showered with GOTY awards left and right, while gamers are begging Namco to release the latest in the Tales series. Honestly, this guy is just talking out of his ass.
Ryo in Dead or Alive 5 huh? That would be awesome.
No, nothing about this game is actually worth getting hyped about in my opinion. Hell, most people would probably just ignore it if it wasn't called DmC.
That is what most of the hate is about, taking a lot of peoples' favorite franchise and bastardizing it, plain and simple.
And no, it is not just about the hair.
At least the box art looks nice. Maybe I will get it for the Genesis.
Ha, that one is classic.
I always thought the Sega CD commercial was a bit silly.

No offense to anyone, but I just don't get the appeal of British punk culture, which feels to be the influence on DmC. I understand that is what the guys at Ninja Theory want to do, but do people actually like this type of stuff?
Plus like everyone has said, Dante acts like a true ass. How can anyone like a protagonist that acts like that?
So, any word if this going to get localized?
It's too early to determine that. The Vita right now is on a down slide, but is because there is a lack of games at the moment. At least wait until the holiday season to determine if the Vita needs saving.
