So he is complaining that the holiday season is not crowded enough. I can tell you that I am glade that this holiday is not as crowded as the last two, it gives my wallet a break and it gives me more time to spend with the games I already have.

Having games spread out as opposed to packed into a 4 month window is a good thing. Am I disappointing that Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider got delayed until next year? Sure I am. But I still have Resident Evil 6, Assassin's Cree...

That's a clever and funny video.

For someone who's previous works include Duke Nukem Advance, Batman Begins, The Simpson's Game, and Army of Two: The 40th Day, Hutchinson has a really big ego.

There is no problem in having confidence, but maybe Ubisoft should reel in his leash a little. Too much confidence and talking, and pretty soon people are going to want to see you fail.

SCEA decided to released the PSOne Classics in waves. So instead of having all of them at once, we get a couple with each PSN update.

Not saying I agree with their decision though, but saying they are only bringing 9 out of 100 is not exactly right.

I used to love me some Dodonpachi back in the day. I might have to run to the store and pick up an XBLA card buy me some CAVE shooters just for old time's sake.

Anyways, can anyone explain why CAVE only supports the Xbox 360? It seems odd that a niche company would make a game exclusively for a console that doesn't have a large base in Japan. I understand if they were to just bring them to the West just for the 360.

OK, I miss understood then. I thought you meant any game with Tesla in it. I do agree that Tesla was a bit of a bad ass back in his day. It would be interesting seeing a game focusing on him.

Dishonored does look really nice. So many possibilities to approach the missions, the player choice is great. Knowing me, I will try to be stealthy and quietly take down enemies, but will mess up somewhere and have to shoot my way out of it. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I remember playing Metal Gear Online a few times when I first got MGS4. If I remember correctly you needed at least two accounts just to play it. It was a pain to sign-in and it took forever to download the updates for it.

It's a shame they shut the servers down though, it was quite a bit of fun when I played it. Konami just made it a headache to start it up.

Alex Hutchinson said that there should be a UNIVERSAL STANDARD when reviewing stories in EVERY GAME. That would mean we would have to compare the stories in a FPS with a JRPG.

From the reviews I read, reviews spent around a sentence or two saying the story for MW2 was bad, but we all know that the series tries to tell a compelling story. Chris "The Bearded Gamer" said that Western games are torn apart if their story is off by a bit. Two sentences is not tearing a ga...

I was pretty surprised at that too. I always that people praised Metal Gear because of it's story! I could understand with criticizing Resident Evil's story, but it is not like it is hard to follow or anything.

I just found it odd that he criticized Metal Gear for a convoluted story, but doesn't mention Modern Warfare in there.

It's like reviewers think they can't be fans of both Western and Japanese games. So many reviewers have drawn this invisible line in the sand, and if you cross it, watch out.

As for the free pass, Alex Hutchinson (creative director of Assassin's Creed III) said that journalist hand out free passes to Japanese games. I think he has it backwards.

I'm tired of all this East vs. West mentality in gaming journalism. A good game is a good game, no matter what region it comes from. People need to stop with this, "It tells a good story...for a JRPG", or "There are good characters...for a WRPG."

Sometimes bad voice acting is more memorable than good voice acting.

It's a matter of preference. Some people like the 360 pad, and others like the DS3, but really who cares. You think the 360 pad is the best? Good for you. Oh, you like the DS3 best? Congratulations.

I loved Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Nothing is more terrifying than Nemesis hunting you down. Great times, great times.

I would have replaced FIFA 13 with Tekken Tag, but that is a preference choice on my part.

I am going to assume you are talking about Dragon Age II just for the sake of argument.

First off, I assume that we can agree with the fact that you cannot please everybody. It's a fact that no matter how hard a developer works on a game, there will always be a group of people that will complain about something.

Dragon Age II is a perfect example of Bioware trying to please everyone and satisfy every complaint people had wit...
