There has to be a statute of limitations on spoilers.

If you haven't played it by now, then you really weren't that interested in the first place so stop being a douche.

@Below

No it should be that you get a year then you're on your own. Damn spoiler-police.

Ahh, that was it. Thanks

Yea they did a great job.

In fact Square Enix has been pretty kind to the PC over the years with ports. Can't remember one, if any, that weren't solid well polished ports.

Grats on missing the point.

Unless you consider a better looking Killzone to be something that was altogether unexpected.

Take off the fanboy hat for 2 seconds and consider what is being said.

Yearly release's is the antithesis of following your heart and "artistic integrity".

Follow the money more like.

Nixxes? What PC port did they do recently? Was it Sleeping Dogs?

If memory serves they did very good job with the recent port.

Rage? Was there even a worthy narrative that warrants a continuation of it?

In order for me 'want' to find out more, I would need to understand what the hell happened the first time.

As for Idtech, I wasn't impressed at all.

Just on name alone GTAV wins. Watchdogs looks very interesting but its going to take more than an interesting premise to effect GTAV.

@Aloren

Totally, because nobody ever defends what they like on the internet.

And those who don't vote are automatically counted one way or another.

I guess BioWare has the ability to read the minds of everybody who threw money at them... Oh, right.

Well what defines a "generation"?

Among all the fanboy battles going on there has been the question whether or not what Sony showed was going to be anything more than a more powerful Playstation.

This hasn't been an attack on Sony but the very concept of "next-gen" and what it actually means. Will it be defined by better looking versions of the same franchises? Or will a fundamental change be introduced?

It may be too...

You don't elect a President based on the people that don't vote do you?

How is BioWare supposed to listen to the fans that have no opinion?

By your logic I could assume the silent majority disliked then endings as well.

4744d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Then where were they? If they didn't care to give any feedback they don't count.

If that magical majority existed you would think they would have shown up by now, its been a year.

4744d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

You also would be upset if you expected good writing. If they wanted a single ending they should have done that.

And it was not left up for "interpretation" it was sloppy, nonsensical writing, pure and simple. Its the kind of crap you tack on to the first or second act of the trilogy, not the end of one. And certainly not one that utilized lore like Mass Effect did.

The ending was a travesty akin to making Emperor Palpatine a damn Ewok, blowing up t...

D3 is essentially the answer to what became very popular in D2. Loot. If you are looking for story, run. If you are looking for a deep RPG, run faster.

If however you want to go through the story several times just looting stuff, then D3 is for you.

Understand, D3 is far from an epic RPG. Its not bad, but its not great. Which made the "always online" crap infuriating.

Not to mention their development cycles which are FAR too long relative to what they put out.

I really don't see 10 years of work in Diablo or Starcraft.

I agree, consoles are easier to use and I totally respect one choosing a more hassle experience.

However, whenever a console gamer talks about PC gaming, they make it sound like every game has issues. Acting like the settings menu is written in some alien script, then you have to write your own drivers and perform a blood pact ritual to use Steam. There is no end to the hyperbole.

10 years ago PC gaming was complicated. Its far less so now. My issue is making...

Interesting, but this just screams "conflicts".

Competition is fine, a fracturing of games along 2 different GPUs is not something I am keen on.

I admit, I don't know all the details, but too often competition is confused with forcing consumers to use your product rather than making a better one. Not saying that's happening here, though.

@datcu

How are you supposed to decide whether to buy a game when in order to form your own opinion you have to buy said game first?

"With that in mind, I mention the possibility of user-created content. If maps are free, then is there a chance for the game to come with a map editor. Surprisingly it’s something Victory games are considering. Morten says they’ll do it if they can make it work: “It’s not as much about free-to-play as it is about the engine. I’m really excited about the possibility of potentially providing the ability for players to trade maps, and to have an interface for that instead of it just being a...
