@disagree
Crysis on PC you see your legs, FACT.
Thank God Lucas isn't in charge anymore. Trampling of the established lore that made the franchise what it is today is just foolish. I really hope they leave Han Solo's lore alone its great as is.
They should set 1313 during the Coruscant uprising, and leave the prequel era in the past where it belongs.
Ideally it would just do what a PC does, but in a console form-factor.
The market isn't going to change to:
720
PS4
"Steam-Box"
PC
etc.
Based on what Gabe has been saying it just doesn't sound like he intends the Steam-Box to be anything more than an extension of the PC and a way too push Linux for gaming.
When you think of in terms of the current consoles, yea, its an incred...
@FatOldMan
You see your legs in Crysis.
They tried that with TechTV and it just didn't turn out well.
Well in the US at least, I think the question is whether it would be successful on national TV. I haven't yet been convinced it would. On the internet maybe.
Who disagrees with facts then doesn't have the balls to back it up? If the facts are wrong correct them.
Soon as I heard "Quartermain", I knew this was based on something a little before the time of video games.
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you...
Mr. Buzz Killington
Was waiting for that one.
There are people who though Battleship was the greatest movie ever, to each his own I guess.
That's the point. It wasn't your's it was mine.
Uncharted is the same for everyone.
More to the point, Uncharted is not the only game ever made.
So I was playing Empire: Total War and there was this rather large army bearing down on one of my cities. My defense force was one turn away so basically the town was screwed. But as it happens, I had a grizzled old veteran group of about 250 line soldiers and grenadiers stationed in a town on the way to the city. The enemy of about 2000+ decided to make a detour.
I had no general and just 2 units of soldiers against 2000. I thought for sure these guys were toast, but decided...
great card, the 460.
For the false statements the game needed to be taken down. But for bugs or being a crap game, I don't think Valve should be making that decision, especially after all that happened.
If you get suckered into buying it now, its on you.
Not for gaming it isn't.
@Dylila
What are you smoking?
Come back to reality. 4k games are a ways off.
Did you really think it was just a matter of getting a new TV?
Fanboyism at its finest.
"Steam uses an always-on DRM for most games released on the platform, which, in the event of Valve shuttering its doors or otherwise interrupting service, would render those huge libraries of games built up over numerous sales useless."
This isn't accurate. Steam does NOT use "always on" DRM and in the unlikely event the company tanks, its a baseless assumption that you would automatically lose all your games. It could happen or it could not, Gabe said...
Well if history is a guide then...
yawn.
This is the "Sorry we called you all criminals" announcement.
Let's see if they can maintain that disposition for more than a year.
Minus the perspective. Wouldn't a "blatent ripoff" be in third person?
