Leaving their fans in the "dirt" would be Valve telling HL fans that they will not be making HL3. They haven't done that. In fact they have said nothing at all.

The lack of information is frustrating, but that doesn't mean HL3 is not being worked on.

“Ray surprised me,” explained Oster. “I had him pegged as an EA lifer. My thought was the Ray agenda was to first usurp Frank Gibeau and then later John Riccotello as CEO.”

^This doesn't sound like someone who quits because fan reaction.

I prefer Craig as Bond. The films were turning into 2 hour BMW commercials. Finally Bond doesn't need some whacky gizmo to punch someone in the face.

You had 360, PC, and PS3 in the same comment. How could one not disagree, this is N4G after all:P

The DRM was never a good idea no matter how prepared you were.

Here's a first, I agree on every point, even Crysis 2.

Not sure how people can love Rage, there's not much there to begin with. And "Mega-Texure"? What over-hyped garbage that was. Maybe it was impressive on the consoles, but it was garbage on PC. Distant textures were great, but up close it was a mess.

Anyway, bubble for you.

100$ is a perfect price. Not too much, but not an amount you throw away on a joke.

Compared to the equipment, software, time, etc. a 100$ is not much if you are serious.

If you can't scrounge 100$ from somewhere then you probably have bigger problems. If you can buy a computer then you should be able to get 100$ together.

It will also help keep less serious devs and those who refuse to pay out of principle, thereby increasing visibilit...

As it relates to this topic freedom of speech is really a non-issue. Meaning, its just DLC and not a big deal.

But you are right in that the protection of speech does not extent to speech that would intentionally incite violence. It can be a muddy issue at times but freedom of speech has its limits.

But, as I said, this Bin Laden DLC doesn't have anything to do with that. EA and others are just cashing in on current events. You can debate whether doing t...

Considering the fact that the pieces, while very similar, aren't the same I'm surprised you have any agrees at all.

You can copyright a specific piece, not something as vague as style.

Are these guys still in custody?

I haven't heard anyone mention that they had been released.

This article is a waste.

There are too many console gamers to not have a platform dedicated to their tastes. Could valve offer that? Sure, but I don't think its likely they are going dive into the console hardware market.

With "Apps" and mobile gaming being what it is, I don't think anyone can predict what the future of gaming will be. Console gaming is going to stay and that is how it should be. Beyond that I don't have a clue what will happen.

TESO should go with the GW2 model, IMO. I'm not sure why I would ever want to play it. I like the THE SP games just fine but I just can't seem to get interested in this.

Apples and oranges. MMOs are far more complex

Revenue could be an issue, but the approval system gets in the way of being able to update quickly.

Consoles are very anti-patch. Meaning they prefer games to not need patches. Which is fine for most games but not MMO's.

I know, right?

Reading the actual article, or in this case just the description, helps.

Just because Steam is the biggest doesn't make it a "closed environment" to the exclusion of all others. They haven't locked down the PC so that any game you play must go through Steam.

Also, the article doesn't mention How indies get the same visibility as AAA titles and aren't relegated to some sub menu to be lost among the rest.

All I can say is, that I prefer Valve being the leader of DD as a opposed to EA and the like.

Not sure how old the article is but paying for more bank space gives you 30 slots not 10. The resources that are not put into the resource tab (rare resources) are stackable. Event items (items obtained to complete the event) should be destroyed.

The AH is accessible anywhere and you can put things up for sale the second you loot them. You only have to go to an AH NPC to pick up purchased items.

The speed with which issues are address in this game means peop...

Unless ME3s MP has changed recently, the MTs were entirely avoidable. In fact it seemed rather stupid to waste any money on them at all.

I also couldn't read the article. So if I am way off base I stand corrected.

Islam does not glorify suicide bombings. Its also not the only one to have extremists either. Just open a history book.
