All these years on, Sony still pulling off the stand trick that started with the PS2. You have to chuckle.

Another old game updated. Why not a new game?

It looks last gen with a graphics upgrade. Will pick this up a few years down the line used.

To be fair, The Last of Us on the PS3 was a top game, on PS4, it was always going to be a bigger game with better graphics because of the tech, but other than that, that's it. Will the Last of Us 3 be a big open world game? Probably not. It'll be a game that traps you in when it comes to exploration. No excuses for more of the same with the third game.

Same old. What else can you do with racers? My biggest grip is same old tracks. With the next Xbox, Forza will keep banging the same drum. Same with Turismo.

Come on, this port is laughable. And I'd still be laughing if it was £20/$20 across all formats. Played this years ago on the Xbox 360. For me, it's dead in the water.

After GTA 5, that was it from Rockstar. I thought GTA 6 would be here by now. Max Payne 3 was decent, but Max Payne 4 will be years off. Could say the same for a new Smuggler's Run and Manhunt, but never played the sequel. Never rated Bully. Like CAPCOM and Konami, Rockstar went weird. Some gamers looking for a new Midnight Club, but I didn't think it was any good. God know what's going on at Rockstar HQ.

Wake 2 does looking boring. But when someone has been playing games for not far off 40 years, that's expected. It's a pick up later game.

After Turismo 4 on the PS2, the series was never the same. Although Turismo 4 wasn't a finished game and didn't play as good as Turismo 3. Turismo 5 on PS3 was a mess, Turismo 6 was Turismo 5 finished. Sport on PS4 was another mess, especially VR mode. Sort of back on track with Turismo 7, but so tiring as with the Forza series. Anyone remember the PSP version that had no championship mode? Turismo has always been average at best.

Finished the first game on the PS2 all those years ago, never finished the sequel. Arcade mode in Max Payne 3 was awesome. Will probably pick this up and play both games. Rockstar should throw Max Payne in GTA as DLC missions.

CAPCOM are shocking these days. Gobsmacked after the Dreamcast and PS2 era. Resident Evil is a dreadful franchise. No Powerstone 3 is my biggest gripe. UN Squadron 2 is well overdue. Loved CAPCOM during the Mega Drive and Super NES era. Like Konami, CAPCOM died during the Xbox 360 and PS3 era. It really does need to take a look in the mirror.

£55 on the Switch, I'll be waiting for a big price drop.

Doesn't matter what you call these 2D Mario games, same old each time. Super Mario, New Super Mario and Super Mario Land, the dogs are barking at Bowser turning up. I'd have gone for a new Super Mario World. The sequel to Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo wasn't a true sequel. A new 2D Zelda is due.

Sad how Nintendo brings back 'old games' and charges a premium price. New games yes, old games no. It really is sad for the industry.

The problems with that are it'd probably weigh in at a full price game and it wouldn't include the AX tracks that are weirdly in the GameCube version but can't be accessed.

The same old if you ask me.

Because they're allowed to do it and people will pay £70+ to play it. To play this at launch, it's desperation and impatience. I'd rather wait until it's been out for x amount of years with bug fixes. Sometimes that pays off with a complete edition that are common these days.

It really does look like so many games before it. The only thing you can do with this genre is go the Ridge Racer route with made up tracks and cars. Sick to death of the same tracks and cars with the likes of Forza and Turismo. Arcade Racers have died. Ridge Racer, Shox, Project Gotham etc.

God, Contra has gone to the dogs over the years. How about a new 2D Legend of the Mystical Ninja? As with CAPCOM, Konami died after the Dreamcast and PS2 era.
