This gen has been the worst I've lived through. The next PS and XB need to cut ties with previous consoles, as it current consoles are just upgrades. This gen has been a big waste of money for me.
Was just running off Breath of the Wild. Probably be the same old with the next game on the Switch 2. Nintendo needs to knock out some more 2D Zelda games. Zelda needs to mature and move with the times.
Love consoles launches, but sick of having X amount of consoles, including the PC. The cost of gaming these days, it's not ideal. But can never see one format, more so when you look at Nintendo's history with licencing.
Completed this on the Xbox 360 yonks ago, If you've not played it by now, you've either been in jail or have been living on the Moon. It can also be picked up for peanuts on disc.

Go out and buy a Pro console and see a fraction of difference. The cost of the PS5 at the moment, the PS5 Pro price will be eye watering. Games at £70, I don't think I'll be buying GTA 6 at launch. Next gen will be even more costly. Gaming has become a luxury.

This gen has been a whitewash for releases, more so with the Series X. Never known a console gen like it. The Xbox One and PS4 still had a few years left in them. Microsoft are clueless. All they ever do is showcase games then that's it. This gen is nearly over. I don't understand why Microsoft bothers.
Why are SEGA obsessed with fast paced Sonic games? Why not Sonic Adventure 3?
Zelda needs a revamp, although I would also expect a new 2D game at some point. Breath of the Wild on Switch was a Wii U port and still holds up to the Switch version.
Microsoft won, but my console sits waiting for new games. Am I missing something here?
£70 a launch, that'll be out of reach for some gamers.
I mean, how can GTA be any different? US setting, sea, beach, all the usual trimmings. Can't say I was impressed with the trailer. Jekyll and Hyde style characters, not exactly original. Rockstar are not exactly masters at missions/story lines either. Churn out more of the same and still pull in the money. The last game released in 2013, GTA 6 to release in 2025 and that's before delays. Funny company, Rockstar.

Probably the biggest debate in the gaming, the price of games. But even consoles and controllers etc. have been at eye watering prices for X amount of years now. I was there when Mega Drive and Super Nintendo games clocked in at £50+. Older gamers will remember games on tapes for under £10 (Commodore 64 and Spectrum etc.). Moving to consoles, games clocked in at £30+. Nintendo 64 games topped £70 in the late 1990s. Still, if you think these prices are worth it, crack...
Give us a Cyberpunk racing game. Arcade racers have died off.
