Wii U games hold up well all these years on, Wii U ports on Switch, it's as if all Switch games could run on Wii U. Switch ports on Switch 2, there was never going to be much in it.

Watched around 10 minutes of a walkthrough, find a key, then immediately a door to then use the key, then find wire cutters to cut wire to get through another door. That classic handgun that you have to use all the way through the game because of lack of ammo for all other guns. Resident Evil fans are easily pleased.

The US are at war with Iran, oil and gas prices are going to rise, but with that, companies and retailers will give us all sorts of reasons why prices have risen. Next, Nintendo will be telling us that cardboard has risen in price, which has pushed up the price of anything that comes packaged in a cardboard box.

£74.99 ($100) Switch 2 games didn't last long in the UK and games on key cards are annoying. Amiibo has been problematic from the start, prices a bit high, then the scalpers get hold of them, not forgetting stupid regional exclusives. On top of that, the content you get is fairly poor, then you have a figure gathering dust. For us poor gamers (me), Nintendo should've released Amiibo without the figures, just the bases showing who was who. I paid into a few of them during the ...

Somehow, I think Sony would've branched off and released its own console. Nintendo's history with game licencing. more so with the NES would at some point of rocked the boat with Sony. Jumping Flash on the PlayStation was originally a Nintendo PlayStation game, plus a few others. I'm all for a single format that's never going to happen, but somehow, I'm glad Nintendo and Sony went their separate ways.

Sony went to SEGA and said they don't like games on cartridges (back then it was Sony Imagesoft), the Mega CD (SEGA CD) was born. SEGA still wasn't convinced about games on CD, the Mega Drive 32X was born as SEGA didn't agree with Sony on a 32bit CD console. Out pops the PlayStation which swallowed up the Saturn. After the Dreamcast, SEGA popped games on PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube. The Nintendo PlayStation, Nintendo didn't see eye to eye with Sony on game licencing a...

Who paid silly money for the Switch 2 key card version?

You guys who are playing this, is it still locked doors and finding keys? How many hits does it take to floor enemies? Do you end up using the handgun more due to lack of ammo for better weapons? I stopped after Resident Evil 4. Saying that, pick this up cheap when it's been out a while. This series and genre is no way worth up to £70 at launch.

Fair enough, like consoles, PCs have their exclusive games (I think), but the PC is for gamers who are OCD when it comes to graphics and they don't mind paying silly money for the hardware. If you want to play Sony games, buy a PlayStation, same with Nintendo. I'm not sure how many games Microsoft sells on PC, I suppose the PC suits Microsoft alongside Xbox. A single format isn't going to happen, but how long can we all afford consoles costing £700+, namely the PS5 Pro?

I stopped after Resident Evil 4. Do you not get sick of playing the same old? I was impressed with The Village, but the likes of running out of ammo, you always end up using the handgun most of the time, locked doors and having to find keys, it's too blah, blah, blah for me. Back in the day, I thought Silent Hill was better, but after the 4th game, I got bored. I'm glad Konami dropped off with it because survival horror games are over.

Is there really such a thing with this slowly dying genre?

The last classic Doom was Doom 3 on Xbox and PC, although I only played it on Xbox. The Xbox 360 version had the DLC included on the disc and new content which I thought was awesome. After that, the series didn't do it for me and the same can be said for Wolfenstein. After Return to Castle Wolfenstein on Xbox, the series died. I've not played the latest Doom and I'll give it a go at some point, but much prefer corridor Doom which could be included with how Doom is now to mix i...

The Switch and Switch 2 are handhelds that can also be played on a TV, right? Switch 2 tech is on par with the PS4 and Xbox One, Sony and Microsoft need to slow down. No excuses for Sony and Microsoft to release a hybrid console, no need for tech that exceeds PS5 and Xbox Series X. SEGA's Nomad (1995) and the PSP (2005) could be connected to a TV, this type of gaming has been going on for 30 years.

I'm surprised CAPCOM haven't done a new Dino Crisis, although it was just a Resident Evil clone. UN Squadron 2 and a new Maximo. Maybe a new Final Fight.

I stopped after Resident Evil 4 on the PlayStation 2. Watched vids of the series after that and I'll admit that a few of the games stood out from the rest, but CAPCOM need to get rid of locked doors and finding keys etc. CODE: Veronica was probably the best I played, but the series got boring years ago. The Village moved the series along, but survival horror games do nothing for me now. How about Resident Evil Karts? Resident Evil Pinball? Resident Evil Karts would be awesome.

A good start would be to actually release games for the Series x.
