And still no VR mode. No VR from Microsoft, not even being able to use third party VR headsets.

Look at the PS4 and Xbox One, they're still hovering about all these years on. Another 5 years of PS5 and Xbox Series X is fine by me.

Could? Strange how prices rise for virtually everything we buy, yet when things settle down, prices don't come down. This has been happening in the UK probably before I was born. With that, how much is a next gen console going to cost? Look at the price of the PlayStation 5 Pro, which has been a flop for Sony. On that note, we don't need the next consoles for another 5 years.

I've pre ordered one here in the UK, no games though, as I'll move it on for a higher price. The white model looks awesome, but as expected, the price is too high. We'll probably see more of those all in one cartridges from China containing every AES game. In the UK, AES+ game at £70 ($95) is better than eye watering prices for the originals, but these games are so old and I can honestly say SNK didn't release many classics. The Metal Slug series is the only series I ...

A good start would be to release games to go with the console. My Xbox Series X has gathered dust virtually from launch. My advice would be to ditch a next console and release games on PC, PlayStation and Switch. Another idea would be a hybrid console based on Xbox Series X tech and go the same route as Nintendo. Another idea would be to pull out of gaming altogether. Plenty of options there.

I pre ordered this from Strictly Limited Games nearly 3 years ago and are still waiting. Spica Adventure was a standalone game, which I also pre ordered, but both games were eventually bundled together on one disc/card. I received a refund for Spica Adventure after a number of emails lasting months. Do not pre order games from Strictly Limited Games.

Run about, fire a gun. Pick this up when it hits £20.

An all in one console from Nintendo was always going to hit big sales. After the failure of the Wii U, Nintendo went at it again, porting Wii U games to Switch, which also saved gamers having 2 consoles. Microsoft and Sony throw out PC consoles these days, next gen console pricing is going to be eye watering. Step off the gas pedal with the tech and go the hybrid console route. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are more than sufficient as next gen consoles. There are plenty of great ga...

Forget about console sales and Xbox versus PlayStation, it's game pricing that'll be the start of the end of gaming. Game sales at an all-time low, the people at the top need to wake up.

Microflop. After Windows XP and Xbox 360, it all went floppy.

This gen hasn't been the best for games, last gen consoles are still out there and now there's been talk of the PS6 and Xbox Two for a year or so. Many games this gen will be ported to next gen and the cycle will continue. The re-release of the Neo Geo AES+, games on cartridge for £70 ($95), gaming is going back in time. Gaming has gone pricing mad with the high cost of games, consoles and controllers. The men and women at the top are clueless.

Strange how you can get a refund on Steam, but not for physical games.

SNK went bust in 2001 and has changed hands a number of times, so it's no longer the original SNK.

A single format will never happen, but Nintendo would be the biggest winner. Buy a PC or whatever console you prefer, away you go. This never happened with the likes of Betamax, VHS, DVD and Bluray, even LPs and cassettes. Gaming is already in murky waters and Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony haven't got a clue. It's time to move on from these console battles and put an end to silly game pricing.

Crazy that the Switch 2 can run Cyberpunk, let alone Starfield.

I'll wait until it drops to £20, maybe even less used. I picked up Cyberpunk on the Xbox Series X for £20, just before it released on Switch 2, which had an eye watering launch price of £65. As predicted, the price on other formats rocketed. We'll probably see this on the next Xbox and PlayStation 6 with more bells and whistles, maybe even Cyberpunk. That's the norm these days.

Forget about consoles and continue with putting games on PlayStation and PC, maybe even Switch 2.

Doesn't all of this happen when you're up in Space? Maybe it's part of the experience.

Probably down to the high cost of gaming. Controllers and racing wheels can cost as much as consoles.
