At a probable £70, it won’t be a launch game for me.
Still, it's rubbish that this game was download only.
Microsoft’s decline continues. Pop this on disc. Happy days. Microsoft went weird after Windows XP. Xbox didn’t take off, most Xbox 360 sales down to RRoD. Xbox One was a letdown, Series X much worse. The slab just sits gathering dust just like Microsoft today.
And it played PS1 games upscaled.
Legendary console the PS2 with the Dreamcast, GameCube and Xbox for that generation. The fact that it played DVDs and PS1 games was a massive selling point. Tekken Tag Tournament was the first game I played on PS2 and is still the best Tekken in my eyes. The PS2 was Sony's best console.
I sort if disagree with The Getaway. Playing it all those years ago, it had a dodgy control system, more so vehicles, was slow and was graphically unfinished. The sequel was even worse and the third game on PS3 was canned. I think Sony should take both games and merge them into one (as with the soon to be released Max Payne 1 and 2). Weird how Sony messed up The Getaway never to be seen again.
There's hardly any games for the current model and Sony has put VR2 manufacturing on hold due to low sales. Waste of time banging on with Pro consoles. Concentrate on games and bringing down the price of VR2.
This is the same as the first game with a few extras thrown in? Doesn’t take much to make 8 million gamers happy. I’ve watched vids, this would bore me pretty quick. Part of the reason why the gaming industry has become a colossal of repetitiveness.
Will there be a physical release?
Kills me that l never finished this on the PS2 all those years ago.
I’d have taken a few of those out. Prefer Sonic over Sonic 2. Outrun should be in there. Maybe even Pong as millions of people had fun with that even if it was repetitive. Final Fight pipped any Streets of Rage game, although Streets of Rage had the better soundtrack. Too many to list l guess. To me, retro gaming is the 1980s, maybe going into early 1990s.
The price of Apple products is staggering. Their charging cables never last long, yet they sell for a whopping £29. Now have to use another brand for less than half the price. The price of their Vision Pro is eye popping.
A lot of bad Sonic games over the years. After Sonic Adventure 2, although Sonic Adventure was better, Sonic died. Apart from the Sonic Racing, that's pretty much it. Sonic Frontiers, SEGA should've knocked out Sonic Adventure 3. These SEGA collections have been knocking around for too long. There's been too much dumbness at SEGA.
They're all in it for the money obviously, many gaming companies have shifted away from consoles such as Atari, SNK and SEGA as examples. Never understood why Microsoft joined the 'console war', which at the time, it was up against the Dreamcast, GameCube and PlayStation 2, not forgetting the PC. A typical 'business brain' would rather make more millions or billions from software than faff on with the added cost of a console. Microsoft messed up with Windows and Interne...
Console growth with painfully slow game releases. Not much growth then.
Like the Amazon Firestick, it’s used mostly for dodgy apps/software. I’m not a tech expert, but lack of memory on this will hit sales. Sony could’ve been sneaky and followed the Firestick route to allow gamers to do whatever they wanted.
Single format. I'm sick of all these console and also the cost. £70 for game is something I can't afford.
Microsoft showcase games, then we wait years to play them.
It was bad enough having four consoles plus the PC when the Dreamcast started that generation. I don’t care for Xbox console now. No interest in VR, they could’ve just made the Series X compatible with headsets already on the market. The cost of gaming now, 2 consoles from Sony and Nintendo is good enough for me.
The likes of Pilotwings, 1080 Snowboarding, Stunt Race FX, F-Zero and Wave Race especially have all been canned by Nintendo. The Switch saw a number of Wii U ports, but not even Splatoon and Mario Maker made the cut, maybe a few others. Seems Nintendo likes to bang the same drum these days.
