Agree but this gives console manufacturers the opportunity to create a gaming service on any device.
I really don't see a PS5 box and if I am right that console manufacturers abandon console hardware in favor of tv apps, then that would be awesome
Agreed
I may be odd, but I don't see a box hook to 📺 set, I do see a PSN tv app 😋
Actually no, downloading a PC game is able to run at Native 4K 60 frames per second, able to get a refund and easier to share once the family plan becomes a reality.
The purpose of cloud gaming is to create a Netflix gaming rental service but to own the license of a game, the gamer needs to download it.
2020 PSN/Xbox Live TV app on any 4K 8 core processor smart tv. Is the end of hardware. 😀.
That is where Sony and Microsoft are...
That is awesome, the digital age will save the gaming industry 😎
No, it will not gamers will have a choice of paying $60.00 or less per game or stream as many games they want through the power of the cloud for 9.99 per month, Netflix style . Saves the headache of buying a game dud
Isn't this amazing how digital distribution plus cloud gaming will make gaming great again:
Family sharing plan (Valve is painfully slow on working on it, Microsoft and Sony may beat Valve on this feature)
Gaming refunds
The return of rental gaming services 😎 in the form of Netflix
Deals and steals
Mod support will increase
The end of antiquated, outdated hardware crippling game...
As long as I play Uncharted 4 I am 👌
Is a great idea, it ends console ports circa 2020. That is because game developers would no longer need to buy console development kits, deal with outdated hardware; thus, crippling their vision of their game. All games will be made with using PC technology (NVIDIA Gameworks, Tres FX, etc.). All games would no longer require console ports; one version of the game can easily be applied on any service. It will push first party console game developers to continue making exclusives for respective...
From a business standpoint it makes sense by expanding its audience from 40-60 million to 140-160 million equals more revenue and profits. It also allows gamers to play their games on any device without an extra cost. So a $60.00 game and able to play it on any device at any place makes the game feel cheaper. No longer a gamer will be constraint to buy multiple versions of the same game making exclusives a priority for any gaming service.
I still get Uncharted 4 on PC through PS Now😎. Sony has signaled the end of console hardware the end of console hardware limitations the end of game developers cutting corners due to outdated hardware. PS Now is the PS5 and Sony confirms this with this news 😋😀😀 28512;
Is the future of console gaming. PS Now hate it or not is the next PS5. A console has 40-60 million users +100-150 million pc users= $$$$$$ in profits. The console hardware is dead and Sony has confirmed it with this news. PS Now in conjunction with PSN as a tv app is the future of console gaming. It was inevitable
Yeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss! I was right all along about PS4 games coming to PS Now. Everyone on this community told me it was impossible to do due to slow internet connections. Guess what n4g community you were wrong
First time I heard of it
Nooooo! The game is going to be dumb down and play like an interactive 🎥 😖
Gamenights eating Doritos with coke (soda not the drug ok), talking smack to your buddy next to you. The rush and thrill of finally beating your buddy for kicking your ass in the game for the past hour. Those 🌙 are always especial to me. Online gaming is good but if no online player speaks just texts it makes the online experience lame. If VR becomes like Sword Art online man that would improve online gaming by seeing an online avatar of the person you play online against.
Your comment makes me feel old.
Not on a 60in screen maybe on a 27in or 30in. I remember offline multiplayer on 27in tvs and yes the issue you mention was present.
What about a tv app of PSN/Xbox Live without a box. That would be awesome
