If this game lives up to its promise, it will finally prove that mobile devices are on par with consoles
I actually played this game during its premier on E3 2016 week. I went to work for the Videogame Premier of Let it die and wore a gas mask with goggles; the guests were scared of our cosplay while we served them food. It was the day I met Suda 51 (The catering company, I work for prohibits: selfies, photos, autographs, even having a conversation with celebrities 👿) and somr of the Japanese metal bands. It was an awesome day at work 😎
Game Developers are making less videogame content (no free unlockables, only the witcher 3 [GTA V is a remastered game from last gen doesn't count] is the only next-gen game with mini games, map editors [PC games still get map editors, sadly console games do not get map editors], etc.). The game is more buggy, crashy, etc. despite the lack of content.
If us gamers had not supported or bought the $60 plus tax game with microtransanctions. None of this would of happen.
As long as offline single player is offered, I am cool with it.
Oh no! I was wrong about early access games. I hope that Wildcard Studios does not botcher the PC version because is not on par to the power of the PS4 Pro meaning the PC is more powerful. I also mean dumbing down A.I., simplification of survival elements (hunger, thirst, sleep, etc.), removal of slaving other playera, simplifying dinosaur domestication.
It depends because PC gamers built their PC from the ground up. Basically, they know which parts are cheap but efficient plus knowing the ins and outs of PC parts by understanding clockspeeds, ram, temperature, etc. All of that gives credibility to PC gamers. What if Sony gave the dev $25 million dollars to say the PS4 Pro is on par to a $900.00 PC. After all, Sonys' goal is to sell PS4 Pro systems. No corporation nor game developer that makes games for say system is going to admit:
Agreed except PC with those parts offers both NATIVE 1080p/4K resolution and 60 frames per second for 1080p and 30 frames per second for 4K resolution. On contrast on PS4 Pro is UPSCALE 4K resolution and either 30 frames per second or less and not all PS4 Pro games run at native 1080p/60 frames per second. Does not counting the non-gaming features the PC offers. The PS4 Pro is an overclocked OG PS4 no more no less. Is cheaper to buy a new case and overclock than build a new PS4 from the groun...
Sounds like Sony and Microsoft are just overclocking the PS4 and Xbox One. Business wise is cheaper to overclock and just change the case; as opposed to, making an upgrade console from the ground up.
Only 2 survival games have been released from early access: don't starve and minecraft (the PC version of minecraft lacks an end game; in contrast, the console version does have an end game). No Man's Sky is the only survival games that did not go through early access. This genre really needs is for the games to get out of early access.
No, microtransanctions have no business on $60.00 games (I am ok with DLC/map packs on $60.00 plus tax games). The game developer already made its profit by selling the game; what gamers need to demand is options. Meaning, free unlockables (Crash Bandicoot 3 warped, collect color gems to unlock secret level chambers), map editors, minigames (The Witcher 3 is one of those rare open world games that offers mini games, for this generation of gaming). The DLC/map packs are there in case the game...
Bummer, I was hoping honoring the kickstarter games that actually released not the ones still in development
Is too early for VR. Next year, Sony might sell more units.
I am glad crowdfunding exists. You sound like a business man no offence. There is so many hidden gems out there is such a shame that gamers prefer the same tired ass franchises. Metal Gear is the exception not the rule.
Agreed, I am an indie gamer but I do enjoy some AAA games like Assassins Creed, Bioshock franchise, Metal Gear franchise (it is the rare franchise that gameplay mechanics, location, visual fidelity, game design, weapon design, etc. change [the game changes so much from game to game is incredible plus the story moves forward has history and lore]). Of course Portal franchise. But my favorite games are games that some people have heard or may be too obscured:
Fran Bow
If backwards compability was available from the start then maybe remastered games wouldn't exist
Let's be honest majority of gamers buy games based on popularity and brand not what the game is about. There is light in the tunnel in the form of crowdfunding games. Games that major publishers would greatly avoid insert platformer, graphic adventure, survival horror, etc. Thanks to crowdfunding awesome (not all masterpieces ) games have crop up:
Planet Coaster (the return of Theme Park management 😋)
Elite Dangerous (the return of space games...
Oooh time to buy the game. DOTA theme park that sounds awesome
Not really because these are sequels to new ips. Call of Duty still selling more copies than Watchdogs 2, Titanfall 2, and Dishonored 2. Personally in my opinion dishonored 1 failed to implement stealth mechanics properly.
Agreed except that business wise and economically wise, is best for both Sony and Microsoft to go from console to Xbox Live TV app or PSN TV app.
