@MrAnonymous, thank you for your response. Yes, its from the first Fault Line video. Actually, they are writing in response to the entire 12 minute presentation which we (the public) have only been getting to see it in parts. On April 17, I believe, we'll be able to see the entire 12 minutes for ourselves. Can't wait to see the entire thing without interruptions.

I don't think it does or it would have been stated. Plus the wheel looks too small to have all the gears and motors in it.

Yes, I am aware of that, but there is a huge difference between an ATV and an APC. ATV's are not armored troop carriers and that is what these soldiers are exiting. I have never heard of an APC called an ATV. They are two very different things. I really don't understand how you guys can disagree with me.

Good to see another PC/PS3 combo gamer. I just love the versatility of it. I'm primarily a PC gamer, but I like having the PS3 as my console sidekick so I have access to console only games and Sony's great lineup of exclusives.

I have to say you have a nicer TV than mine: my PC/PS3 combo is hooked up to a 40" LCD TV. However, this is my bedroom that we're talking about and 40" is plenty big enough for my desk. Our 55" is in living room and I bring t...

Well said. I have it a little more streamlined and cheaper than you, though. I just own a gaming PC and a PS3. The SD resolution of the Wii is a big turnoff for me and the 360 doesn't really have the exclusives I'm interested in (plus paying to play online sucks). Also, don't have the need to game on the road, so I don't own a DS, iPod or laptop. However, I think it is still a great combo: PC for all my FPS and RTS games plus multiplats and the PS3 for those console only games...

No, it's in the opening scene of the Fault Line Episode 1 trailer where the soldiers are exiting a vehicle. It is clearly an APC and believe it is a LAV-25 since you can see another one next to them when they exit (at the :22 through :30 mark). I believe the author just made a mistake and put ATV instead of APC. Easy to get acronyms mixed up.

This is true, but we have seen the video and the soldiers step out of an APC. I believe the author just made a mistake. If you forgot the scene, it is at the :22 through :30 mark of the first BF3 gameplay video.

Little problem with the second paragraph. It mentions "Beginning in an ATV with three other soldiers". The author must mean an APC (armored personnel carrier). ATV's are quad bikes and you'd be hard pressed to have three other soldiers with you.

Great article. I also believe BF3 has the IT factor and is going to be truly epic. Can't wait to see some MP action at E3 and play the beta this fall.

PC will be supporting 64 players TOTAL, so it will be 32v32.

Edit: No problem, I am also eagerly awaiting this game. It's easy to get carried away. :)

@B1633r, you don't know what you are talking about. 68c for a video card running at load is pretty good (that's where my GTX 460 runs at while gaming). Some video cards run in excess of 80c and 90c is generally considered entering the danger zone.

Temps for latest graphics cards (idle and load):

I certainly hope these are not in order because BF3 needs to be at the top of any shooter list. Also, some interesting picks for the list. Portal 2? A FPS? I consider Portal more of a puzzle game. Sure, it's in first person, but there really isn't any shooting. Also, Dead Island? Are we even sure its a FPS? Haven't seen any gameplay (just that trailer). It also sounds like its more of survivor horror game than FPS. Finally, what the hell is Binary Domain? Never heard of it or seen...

Apparently, this troll "wrote" this article in response to MaximumPC's article on "12 Ways Consoles Are Hurting PC Gaming". This is just his butthurt response to the article. Everyone please read their article and then compare it to his. One is well written, based on facts, and makes a very legitimate argument and the other, well not so much.

@Pandamobile, you are right on. This article isn't really about how PC gaming is hurting consoles. It is more like some console fanboy's rant against PC gaming. Not much in the article actually supports the title. In actuality, it's the other way around and it's consoles that are hurting PC gaming with sloppy ports. Anyways, PC gaming is doing fine without this clown and I say "good riddance".

@pogibaldy, I am with you. I own a gaming PC and a PS3. Though I game mostly on the PC, I do enjoy the PS3 for console only games and Sony's quality lineup of exclusive games. To me, a gaming PC plus a PS3 equals an incredible gaming combo.

I also enjoyed this game immensely, but would buy it again for the PC. Just imagine this game in higher resolution and better graphics. Plus, think about the mods that could be made for it.

Seeing that StarCraft 2 is on your list, I can see you like RTS games. Then, you really should try Company of Heroes. It is my all time favorite RTS game and still holds up well to this day. COH has committed community that has developed lots of mods and maps that have continued it's long life. Hopefully, Relic will make a sequel soon (Dawn of War has certainly seen it's share of sequels and expansions).

The article also forgot to include that the Wii can't play DVD's and Netflix is streamed in SD (480p). Two more reasons why the Wii wasn't built for the future.

Not likely to ever happen. It is strictly a casual gaming device and MS is marketing it as such. Kinect might be incorporated into a AAA hardcore game as an enhancement, but I doubt we will ever see one as a Kinect only game without using a controller. I just don't see the hardcore gamer giving up their controller for a less accurate, laggy interface. Why do gestures, when a button press is quicker and more accurate?

I know, this article is ridiculous. Well, the actor that plays C3PO says that Star Wars Kinect is good, so it must be. Wow, great logic there. No need for reviewers, some unknown character actor has played it and it's good. Reminds me of those actor twins demoing the Harry Potter Kinect game and telling us how great it was. We know how that turned out.

On another note, I don't own a Move, but you are right that it would be the proper peripheral for making a Star Wars ...
