FF15 isn't even confirmed for pc and as far as I know Resonance of Fate is a console exclusive... And there are much more JRPGs on consoles, sorry. And they have the best of them - Shin Megami Tensei games, Persona games, Xenoblade, Tales games, Lost Odyssey, Shadow of Colossus, Shenmue etc. And the thing is those you mentioned came out on PC only recently. During the PS1 era there wasn't a good emulator to emulate them, same goes for PS2/Xbox era and PS3/Xbox360 era. I know you get g...
It's a different taste. I mainly play games for their stories, and no stories are better than in JRPGs. Unfortunately, JRPGs aren't released on PCs so yeah.
When I played it I always thought this to be true. It made so much sense with Griever and Ultimecia starting the fight with 'Shall we dance?' hinting at the ballroom scene. Even today I refuse to believe otherwise.
FF VII was my first rpg, but the best one so far to me is Persona 3.
Where have I been the last 35 years?! DD:
If GTAV is everything we hoped to see in games for 35 years then I feel very sad about what games and gamers have become.
Don't get me wrong, GTAV is fun but only 13 year olds would say it's the best thing produced in the last 35 years.
texag2011 Skin color doesn't feel forced in games, really? Characters of different race or ethnicity are portrayed using stereotypes too often and if this doesn't bother you then it's obvious you don't care. The game industry needs to go a long way still. Instead of just ignoring these issues why not be vocal so that in the future we can enjoy games that feel real.
"After all, why should anybody -- regardless of what makes that person who he or she is -- feel excluded from a fantasy land" If a character needs to be gay for you to relate to him then sorry, something is wrong. I'm all for gay characters if they're well developed but if being gay is the only thing you need for a character to be happy with, regardless of if it makes sense and fits or not, you should rethink your priorities. You're shouldn't be defined by your sexua...
Seriously, the Orphanage scene? I mean, I love FFVIII but there are way weirder scenes to choose than that. And what's so cringeworthy about the peeing scene from FFIX? I don't get it.
I get people complaining about Vanille's voice, but Hope? He is a fucking 13 year old. We all were just as annoying when we were 13, he's just in character.
And the last one - if the writer doesn't get the point of the laughing scene in FFX and why it's ...
Wtf? Using this pic to get more hits?
No he meant plane. I tell you, once shit hits those turbines no Bible will save you.
Stewardius, 27:3; Beware the rotors of the mighty turbines, for the Earth is a plane.
"This is a work in progress.
The final product may be subject to change."
The trailer starts with this. Why so surprised?
Donte has black hair, Dante has always had white hair.
I don't remember the last time I played an open world game where I was so eager to explore the hell out of it before SD.
Only thing I didn't like was that it was too short. Can't wait for SD 2 though.
I feel you. I never played Mario when I was a kid cause I'm not an Italian plumber, or Pokemon because I never spent my life running around and catching animals. I never played Devil May Cry cause I don't have white hair. I also passed Final Fantasy cause I can't wield big swords or do magic. Journey is such a stupid game, who the hell would relate to an owl monster. I tried Need for Speed and GTA when I was young but I just didn't feel it, probably cause I had no license. So ...
Yes if it is a well written characteristic of the character. I hate when they use stereotypes, not just gay but any. If the character is gay make it a natural part of him. If the character lives in a world where it's okay then display the world as such (create a character and add those options), if it's not normal show it's effect's on the character in form of psychological struggle.
Though not about gay people, a great example are the early Silent Hill games...
Well that's some primitive bullshit you're shitting there.
Because Link lives in a world where there are no Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, Arabs (even though this isn't a race...)
It's 5:35 am and the stupidity of this world already exceeds the amount I can take daily.
The last part of my comment was sarcasm obviously. But there you go, you have different tastes and different games that carter to them. I personally don't like platformers and "comically-violent" games but I don't complain about them, I simply avoid them. So why can't people do the same?
As a medium of art, game designers should be allowed to do whatever they want with their games. There's a reason why age limits to games exist. And if it means that ...
Because you're an attention seeker.
This article sucks kinda. Before you write something, as a journalist you should first do some research. They gave a bit more information in the last few years than the writer seems to know.
