"Is it because everyone was traumatised by XIII and its sequels, or because the game isn't turn-based?"
No.
"Anyhow, just drop the prejudices, and have an open mind."
Yes.
@lawson
Depends on the situation. I mostly agree with you but when Tabata said he wanted to make the battle system simple because he himself is too old and can't imagine constantly pushing buttons, that's a bit too much.
Yeah, though from the trailer it kinda seems like the MC becomes the persona instead of just summoning it or something.
Not for me. I enjoyed P3 late game since you get badass personas with badass moves. I enjoyed summoning Helel for a Morning Star each time, or Niflheim or Samsara. I never got bored of those moves.
I don't get the going back to its roots either. I don't even understand why someone would wish that. P3 and P4 were a huge improvement in gameplay. P2IS/EP were good in terms of story, but the number of random encounters was killing me and the demon contact-tarot card collecting system wasn't optimal either. P4 was a drop in story quality but I'd say P3 has the darkest story of them all.
From the trailer I'd say it's the same concept, there's a ca...
Well you definitely won't get an M for mature.
It's not about using more polygons for the faces, it's just about making the features more proportionate... The art style is okay, he even stated that some characters actually look badass. Just make the eyes and the mouth smaller and it's a different story.
I don't like it either. In previous games they were acceptable cause the graphics of the environments weren't that great either. But now that the game's world looks so gorgeous it stands out a lot...
Luckily you have many old turn based games to play which you so love and the rest of us can enjoy the change some of the games bring.
Japan is the reason I prefer PS. If western companies would take over that would be the end of console gaming for me. I'm even taking a Japanese course to learn the language so I can play the games cause the library of good games is getting weaker nowadays...
@Ark
There's nothing hypocritical about it. It's easy to relate to anyone's death if you have empathy...which every human should do. Of course every second someone dies somewhere but you don't think about that. When you are confronted with someone's death though it's easy to relate. Or it should be. Sadly, this doesn't apply to everyone.
So they can make it able to control cats and dogs but not all party members?
Gen 7 wasn't great either within the first year. Get your fanboy shit out of here.
I also like X the most. VIII is my second place, but I wish they went with the Ultimecia is Rinoa story cause it makes so much more sense. Or had they at least kept silent about it instead of denying it.
But X, it's a trip of emotions from beginning to end. And to me it has the best music of all the FF to date and the incredible music sets the atmosphere for great emotions. The Zanarkand theme really makes you feel bittersweet while listening, the battle theme gets yuo fi...
Girls are not made lesbians...
Could they stop marketing it as holographic? These aren't holograms.
Well you just defined them as not being holograms. Hololens doesn't emit light to create the images so they aren't holograms by definition. Even MS said they only used the term cause people are more familiar with the word hologram than augmented reality.
These aren't really holograms...
@godmars
I don't think you're the right one to suggest waiting until the game comes out before making claims...
What's so special about him to constantly make articles of him playing games?
