Haters gonna hate.
Dgander has spoken and thou shall not question his opinion, but regard it as fact./s
It's the art style of the game and it shouldn't be changed. Man is the number of whiny gamers increasing or was I just oblivious to them before?
I'm sure Silent Hill 2 would look a lot better with more color as well instead of the gray fog you walk through most of the game, but colors would destroy it. Geez.
Maybe the writer did read the bible. Just sayin'.
"I hear a lot of fanboys spouse nonesense about "exclusives" but unless you game on both the PC and console then you really don't give a damn about exclusives because you're missing out on a ton of games."
Not really. I play mainly JRPGs and most of them are on consoles and handhelds. The PC really lacks behind when it comes to that genre.
Gamers accepting games that aren't perfect and being ready to pay full price for them shows how big the problem is.
They are the royal guard of Noctis. It makes sense that they would be dressed similar. They all wear the same boots and black seems to be their color. In most FF past VI the guys look J-Popish. Noctis looks more real than Cloud or Vincent or Zell, Wakka, and everyone from FFIX. And they said multiple times that they want this game to have a serious mood, characters like Cait Sith and moogles wouldn't blend into this world really well.
People need to realize that the game was started over from scratch. It's not ported. It's 60% in 3 years, not nine. Geez -.-
The game told the story it was supposed to. A man trying to save the world by escorting a special girl who might be everyone's savior (of course the story wasn't that shallow but it's the general concept). Joel did what he was supposed to, he reached his goal. There is no story beyond that point. And the ending was perfect. It made the player feel exactly what the characters felt - empty, devastated cause the cause you fought for was a lie and only one big question ringing inside ...
The story would have been much better if they went with the Ultimecia is Rinoa plot. Seriously, it makes so much more sense than the official story line. Or they should have at least kept silent about it instead of denying it.
I myself play it as if it were true every time, cause it brings me so much feelz.
@Ultr
Yeah the characters and dialogue in DmC were amazing. Though can you remind me...I forgot who's d*ck was bigger, Donte's or Vergil's?
My favorite games are still from the PS2 era. Awesome hardware =/= good games. Just sayin. Don't be a fanboy, you're missing out.
I knew they wouldn't drop the transformers concept after XIII :O
Edit: This would make Cidney's role in the game much weirder xD
Is there a SE article where I won't have to read your stupid comments?
That car must have some weird gimmicks if they can make fuwataro eggs in the wild.
If I add up all the time I spent on playing Bejeweled on the toilet/bus/waiting for someone/classes/trying to fall asleep etc., it would amount to more time than I spent on any other game. Still I wouldn't call Bejeweled phenomenal.
The demons are a reason why I love it. And the social aspect. I was so struck by P3, each of my friends had their own arcana and whenever I spent a good day with one of them I heard that sound of glass smashing - social link level up lol
Uhm...you've been pressing X plus directional buttons in all FFs...XIII had the R and L buttons mapped as well though... I don't see a major change in controls in the past titles.
I know who he is. Or who he was better said. Still the amount of these articles is ridiculous.
@vishmarx
While I agree with you mostly you should do your own research. While Nomura was in charge his idea was fully controllable characters with the goal of comboing their different skills.
