And that's related to the article how? You didn't even open the article to see what it is about.
It's not weird at all. Just stupid and immature.
I much rather have an explanation of the infection itself than a continuation of Ellie's and Joel's story.
The cordyceps fungus is found in Asia, it's not home in North America. A story set during the time the outbreak started that explains how it spread and how it got to NA would be much more interesting imo.
Don't get me wrong, did I like Joel's and Ellie's story? Definitelly. Would I be as excited to play with Ellie a second time as I w...
It depends really. Unfinished games should be looked at too. Final Fantasy XIII-2 I look at you.
Ending a game that wasn't advertised as episodic with "To be continued" is false advertising. Selling a crucial part of the story as DLC should not be accepted as well.
@rainslacker
The thing is, you'rr not being reasonable, you're still defending the game, but just wording it differently so it's not that apparent. The list above you made is proof of that (you don't seem much different from other i-got-what-i-expected types).
To get your most obvious mistake out of the way, the developer is indeed a criminal. Having in mind the sum of money involved, this was a huge scam which is in fact illegal.

"Name 1 mechanic. If you say mp i will know this is a waste of time."
Real-time solar systems. That day and night happens cause the planet is rotating and that the distance of the planet to its sun will affect its climate and world. Instead we have skyboxes and the natural hazards and animals are random like everything else, displaying no logical connections to one another.
If you took Chocolina from the XIII series as an example I would support the claim. But looking beyond Cindy's outfit, they chose to give a female character a role as car mechanic, a workplace that's dominated by males in general. The emphasis is placed on her usefulness in the plot (given the importance of car travel) and not as a sex object (given she can't even be romanced or something).
@Goldby
so if someone makes an open world game for example and gets asked "can you go anywhere?can you climb the mountains?" and the developer says "With the right equipment you could climb the mountains", but in the game you buy there is no equipment and you can't do what was promised you would have no problem with that?
If for example Square Enix never clarified that you play only as the main character in FF XV, and you buy the ...
The Order was an amazing experience in terms of graphics at the time. Also, it contained all gameplay mechanics that were shown, so nothing that was advertised was missing. The story can be argued to be unfinished or cliffhanger though.
No Man's Sky shipped with all the mechanics that would have made it groundbreaking missing. You're left with a indie game that doesn't offer more than other indie games, for the full price.
Advertise it right and there's nothing to fear. This isn't a case of gamers making up stuff that they wanted to have in the game, this is a pure case of false advertisement and missing promised content.
The title was never advertised as Western rpg as the writer claims? Seems like he's the kind of I hate this but I will play it anyway but let me tell you why i hate it.
First of all, once you describe the combat as button mashing you lose all credibility. Either you're just hating or have no idea how to play it. Both isn't the games fault.
Second, he says the story doesn't seem deep AND THEN as an example says that conversations about at...
The article is too short too fully present the writers idea. It's like a thought that was started and never finished.
Also don't like the part with Cindy. Seems pushed into the article just as clickbait material.
My issue was the characters besides the combat. The constant cursing and sexual implications was just bad. The moment Virgil said to Dante "but I've got a bigger dick" was the moment I've said "yup, not playing this any further".
I never got to fall in love with this game :/
It's one of my least favorite FF titles.
If I remember correctly for ME3 sometimes during the development the writer changed (?)
However, the story stayed consistant actually since ME1, and I didn't mind the ending. You had great boss fights during the game and every story arc started since ME1 found an ending during the game. Not every game needs a grand boss battle to finish.
As Armaggedon said above, it's not a fan theory as much as good observation. The synthesis ending for example ...
Video is set to private.
He just seems to enjoy looking at fit male characters a bit more :D
You said "I agree with some of what the article had" and that's the only positive you said, the rest of your comment is attacking the article without substance.
The author didn't say that Divinity has good choices and consequences, he said that the game gives you choices in the way you play it, which is two completely different things.
In every game once you pass a certain level you'll be overkill, that wasn't the point either. T...
If they want to sell a console, why would they tell users to buy their games on pc?
I think there's no fixed time a reviewer needs to play a game to be able to review it, as the time necessary to rate the game varies from genre to genre. For most fps this time is rather short for example, while for rpgs it can take hours. I think generally reviewers need to play the game until they unlock most of the gameplay mechanics in order to rate them.
Take FF XIII as the article mentioned, in the beginning the battles are simple and boring. The reviewer should p...
