@irish
the physics engine is what I was excited about the most as an astronomy and sci-fi lover. It's also what made me bitter after the release.
The Regalia is not an Audi. The Audi car was the one destroyed in Kingsglaive.
You haters these days aren't even trying anymore, eh?
The cover of FF X was what got me into FF and JRPGs, as I grew up on the countryside in a country where gaming news weren't very common and the usually played games were shooters. VIII was the first game I played at a cousins house (up until after the Ifrit fight), and it was a totally new experience from the games I usually played, but I forgot the name. Then I bought a notebook with the cover of X on it and found it amazing, got the game, played it, loved it, found out the game I was ea...
Pokemon is on handhelds where most turn-based games are. Persona is loved for its stories and worlds, not for the battle system (which is a good one, not the boring type like in older FF titles).
Lost Odyssey was turn-based. Yeah it was on the xbox 360, but considering it is the "true FF of last generation" how come it didn't increase console sales and succeed if turn-based it the alfa and omega?
Just adding cars makes it GTA? I guess FF VIII was GTA then too?
So the reason you came to this article is...?
No, people have respect for turn-based combat, the problem lies with you because you think people being acceptable of XV being action-rpg means they must hate turn-based.
Most of the people looking forward to this game don't care that much about the battle system, as long as it is fun. I would look forward to XVI as well if it was turn-based, as long as the system is original. And that's the problem, up until X the battle system was just generic, even below average...
So the sub-genre is action rpg but the genre isn't rpg. Got it! Logic 101 with SSj2Domon :D
The three games should have been combined into one, XIII had a good story, XIII-2 had better characters in Noel and Caius, LR had the best gameplay.
As far as story it should've ended where XIII did, everything after that was a mess story wise.
@becuzisaid
Tidus is more or less the same boy at the beginning and end of the game.
Lightning, and not only her but most of the XIII cast, actually go through character development (except for Snow maybe).
By your definition any turn based JRPG is Final Fantasy. Why are Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Lost Odyssey, Shin Megami Tensei games etc not called Final Fantasy? By your definition all these games and 90% of JRPGs should be called Final Fantasy. Seriously -.-

It's called onomatopoeia and this one has been used for years now in comics and writing.
From the Three Stooges (20th century):
Curly and/or Larry: What happens now?
Moe: This!
(then Moe kicks their right foot causing his right fist to hit his chin)
Ngah-ngah-ngah! (Curly frightened)
Why you...!...

Ngah is a sound that has been used for years in comics and writing. I'm usually the one who stands up against things that "aren't racist", but this isn't racist and being offended by this is simply stupid af.
The problem is with people saying this game is crap just for the sake of bashing it. Square said that the bugs in the judgement disc demo will be fixed, it might be the case that the fixes will still be implemented into the day one patch. Also, even those who wrote about the bugs said that overall they like the game and story so far.
It's okay to report on bugs, but saying that a game is crap without even knowing its story and playing it (and more over writing the same ...
As much as I liked Nyx as well, they deliberately made Noctis somewhat of a spoiled brat to avoid the standard badass hero main character that has become a cliche for JRPGS.
Forced would mean that as a male character you would have no choice but to romance a male, and even calling that forced is a stretch. As long as you are given options nothing is forced onto you nor into the game.
Inform yourself before posting such ignorant bs.
And if both Tali and Legion stayed alive you would complain that the game is fake cause the choices don't really matter and have the same result anyways.
If you don't like consequences then don't play choice-driven games.
But TLG isn't turn-based. How can YOU say it will be good?
