Then don't say the criticism is valid until you've played the game and experienced the cast. Don't assume mate.
Squall was a good, easy-to-connect with male character, but wss it really too much to ask to have a memorable male support character when said Yuna had her own all-female game named ff X-2?
If the cast was all female you wouldn't bat an eye, get the hell out of here.
Also, Luna will be a strong support character, just not a playable one.
I didn't ask its price, I asked would you pay 60$ for tetris. How is it not a valid comparison?
Wow, you asked me to not make assumptions but you just made a ton of assumptions about me.
Look how long your post is and it contains no proper argument, just ranting. In all the comments you wrote on this article you have not once said why RE7 will be bad. (Those reasons you have said were not true, but made up.
Also, I don't believe you to be an old-time fan. You should be an adult now in that case, yet you behave and respond like an early teenager...
You know nothing about the story, the game is open world, so anything but linear and the gameplay is rather exciting compared to what FF offered till now.
I understand you want to be a hater, but at least put more effort into it.
Care to explain why?
Good thing you speak Japanese so you would know that the Japanese VA is better.
Where there's a xbox fanboy there's always a sony fanboy to keep the balance.
Tetris is 40+ hours. would you pay 60$ for tetris? I believe not.
You can't argue with them. As "old-tiem" RE fans as they claim to be they should actually be excited for this title, as it is returning to RE's roots.
Instead they seem to want another game like 5 and 6 which they at the same time regard to be the downfall of the series.
Gamers today, seriously...
Sorry, wanted to give you a disagree. If you felt so good about your review you wouldn't feel the need to defend it all over the place.
If it's that hard for you to take some criticism maybe you should consider changing your job.
Lucky you played it so you would know
Turn-based combat wasn't what made them so adored.
Type-0 wasn't meh, it was hella awesome.
@KillZallthebeast
My point wasn't that the Sims are better than NMS, I didn't mean to praise the Sims, it's my fault for bad wording I guess. I'm just saying that the Sims is the same concept you mentioned, you can get 50 hours out of that game, yet rarely will anyone say that it's worth a 60% price.
it is okay if you think that the money you paid was worth it, but that doesn't give you the right to dismiss everyone who points ou...
That's not a good argument though. Games like FIFA and CoD are sold at the same price, their fanbase buy them but the games have a bad reputation among gamers in general because their content doesn't warrant such a price.
On the other hand, games like Sims have no narrative but you can get tens of hours out of them, still I don't think many would pay 60 dollars for it.
It's priced at 60$ just as AAA games from large studios. With such a prize they deserve to be criticized.
If they don't think the game is on par with large studio games they should have set a lower price.
There's just as much interviews where he's talking about players being able to meet each other and how seeing your what the players look like for the first time will be a groundbreaking experience. But I guess it's not MP anymore, even if it was marked as such.
You should be just as unbiased and stop defending the developer so blindly.
The Persona 2 games and Persona 3 were incredible in both gameplay and story. While the gameplay of Persona 4 was very fun and addicting, the story was meh compared to prior titles. The same it seems will happen with Persona 5. While I'm sure the gameplay will be a blast, I'm not really sure about the story.
@EDEMIX
You keep bringing up that one 2014 interview about there's no MP. What about the other interviews where he talked about the only way to see what you look like being meeting another player and having him describe it and how two players meeting and seeing what they look like would be one of the most profound experiences in the game?
You can damage control how you want, past that 2014 interview and especially during the last few months pre-relea...
