Read the article, not just the title.
Casual in this context doesn't mean less RPG, less difficult, less complicated or any of the things you guys imagine (who probably didn't even read the article).
Casual in this context means the stories of the characters are more grounded, focusing on the character itself instead of a big calamity that unites all characters in one common destiny. This is actually the better route to take for an RPG. But hey I read the word casual in the title, gotta hate on it, rig...
You mean finally someone who isn't praising a game just because it's a Playstation exclusive?
There's nothing original, innovative or exceptional about this game. It's average.
RE7 is just too scary for naruga, he wants to feel de-stressed. The change to a more horror style for RE is stressing him out too much.
Except the AI was terrible.
They do have an argument though. If your don't like RPG elements in shooters then play shooters and don't complain about RPG shooters. Your argument is illogical.
Also your point about Deus Ex is stupid, those skills were optional. If you didn't like them then you didn't have to get them, but stop forcing your opinion that they shouldn't even be there on others who enjoyed them.
He should change his profession. The article is barely readable and it's hard to understand his sentences when he apparently decided to toss grammar and punctuation into the trash bin.
The ME3 ending was what it was. Mid trilogy there was a change of the writer who seemingly had a different idea for the overall story, so the messy ending was to be expected. Doesn't mean that Andromeda will be messy, even if the same writer stays (don't know who's the writer...
Voice commands aren't just a gimmick if done right. Binary Domain is a game which uses voice commands and while that feature wasn't flashed out or optimal in that game it was an integral part of playing it. If voice commands aren't the only option to control in this game it could be groundbreaking indeed.
New age Atheists are the same as new age feminists. It's irritating.
Is it not possible to immediately ban accounts who write these spam comments and implement a more detailed application form to prevent them from massively creating accounts?
Like seriously every single article is spammed full of this crap.
Your comment sounds like an objective and unbiased opinion indeed.
RE 7 wasn't the first Resident Evil in first person so your point is invalid.
RE 7 isn't even the first Resident Evil game in first person. In Outlast one of the most unnerving things is that you don't fight back, it breaks immersion because it would be the most logical thing to do. In RE 7 the worst aspect is that you have so much weapons and ammo on disposal, it made sense in prior titles were the main leads were trained agents but not so much here where the MC probably never held a grenade launcher before.
Imo the games to look up to are ...
Un-stressing the player and survival horror doesn't go hand in hand. If you wanna feel un-stressed then go play Animal Crossing.
And fanboy war is related to this article how exactly?
The whining of you and the likes is pathetic. 7 has more elements of Resident Evil than the last 3 entries together. Seriously, what's wrong with you people? It's simple, don't like it > don't buy it, wait for the next entry you might like.
The only promise from Nomura I hate seeing discarded was the dark tone of the game.
Who wouldn't? The damsel types are boring and should be left in the past. 1. Fran, 2. Lulu, 3. Paine, 4. Ashe, 5. Lightning, 6. Fang, 7. Tifa, 8. Shiva xD, 9. Yuna, 10. Terra.
I'd take Lulu over Yuna any day.
@guyman
How exactly am I a troll? You don't achieve much by responding just with 'trolls' without giving proper arguments.
