It IS Toukiden and it's an extremely enjoyable game. I just got my special edition Vita with my copy of the game and my only complaint is the fact I can't download the DLC. xD
Or...
Toukiden, which is the closest to Monster Hunter that I've* seen on the Vita, is pushing Japanese sales of the PSV to higher / better levels. Due to more people adopting the Vita over games like Toukiden (we also saw a big boost with the price drop / when Soul Sacrifice released), you're simply seeing GE 2 getting sales from people looking for titles on the Vita. Also don't forget the fact that GE 2 was recently announced to have 2 collectors editions (one w...
Yes and No.
A lot of Hack and Slash games are deeper than God of War, so a fan of GoW might not enjoy Ninja Gaiden, since there is greater importance on mastering the mechanics than GoW.
Because Persona is part of SMT and probably has a lot or at least some of the same people working on both titles. For Sony to buy the Persona series and keep it true to the others, they would also need to talk to Atlus to break up their development team and possibly lose or keep people that might negatively affect both Persona and SMT.
I wouldn't say that...
SMT has been with Nintendo for a while and Nintendo has a LOT of exclusive titles in this series anyway. This is completely different than the argument you see with Bayonetta, which is simply the assumed death because Bayonetta (and really Platinum Games) has no presence on the Nintendo platform. They believe that the title would have done better if a third party company did it and perhaps released it for the original two consoles, though I doubt th...
Atlus is the developer of both titles, so they would need to break up the company / give away people who may or may not have worked on both series and ultimately give us a lesser ****ty product. Also Persona is a spinoff of SMT, soooooo... that would be weird seeing two series that are fairly similar owned by two rival companies, but are still ultimately connected.
I wouldn't worry about it too much, since this person is probably fairly bias and is using pure conjecture to sell their idea.
Like most of the Wii Atlus games were either shovel ware titles or things that weren't of note (like Trauma Center). Since then the PORTABLE systems (DS / 3DS) have been getting some good games, but you could easily argue that is nothing more than the Japanese love of portables and the higher sales.
Anyway, SMT X FE is a wei...
@ Koyes
M$ at least gives you "freedom", where as Apple fights for control. Not saying either company is exactly righteous, but at least M$ isn't all about control.
Where exactly is Nintendo doing us a favor?
They spend pretty much a GAMING GENERATION ignoring all the demands / requests for Mother 2 / Earthbound, only to release it on a console that is selling VERY poorly and charging you fans a premium price. It's like adding insult to injury...
They said it wasn't and it was due to them not knowing there was demand. While it's impossible to say if that's true, it's the stated reason.
Wow... just wow...
"There are two reasons. First, Earthbound is a premium game. Not only will the cartridge run you a pretty penny if you’re able to even find one, but you’ll also need a Super Nintendo to play it."
Why is that really different than any other classic game? Very few games get rereleased and it didn't even viable till the digital age came around. Also Mother 2 (Earthbound) was rereleased on the GBA (in Japanese), so there WERE oth...
While true, your argument is extremely flawed.
Yes, FF VII is $10 dollars, but that SAME GAME works on my PS3 / PSP / PSV and at some point might work on my PS4 without spending a dime. At the same time, we have Nintendo charging you money to update your Wii version to the Wii U version. So if the next Nintendo console pulls the same thing, you might be looking at a $11 - $12 dollar expense, versus the universal $10 for FF on the PSN.
Not saying it's mu...
Yes, but these items are completely different. On one hand you have a rare game that rarely goes up for sale and even then it's impossible to say how complete / what condition it is in. On the other hand you have a digital copy that will never run out of stock and isn't even indexed on your account like you would find on the PSN / XBL. They should have charged like $5 or $10 or perhaps been nice and offer it as a Club Nintendo Platinum Reward. Would have cost them NOTHING and made man...
Yes, but you have to respect Capcom doing it "right". Like each time I got a copy of Blazblue CS, I had the choice of either not buying it, waiting till it dropped in price or picking it up for $40 dollars. At least with Capcom I have the choice of scoring it for $15 on day one.
Why? Pikmin 3 is coming out.
Ziggurcat is right, but I don't know why you would expect better from him. Not only is he a proven cheater, he pretty much deliberately did this to win the auction. I can understand (doesn't mean I accept it though) someone wanting to seem like a "badarse" on a forum or impression their friends with hacked trophies, but I can't say I am expecting a guy who tried to profit from deceit as anything more than a d*** anyway.
I can understand being neutral till something is proven, but the guy is a cheater. Check out his progress in Lost Planet 2 ( http://www.yourgamercards.n... ). Ignoring some things, pulling off this rate of obtain is literally impossible.
First things first, it takes at least 15 weeks to platinum Lost Planet 2 and even if he focused on doing nothing more than fraction matches for the ...
"Still, if you didn't regain trophies for the purposes of the auction there would be a small chance for those hardcore gamers to get something by legitimate means. "
Nah. If you were under level 40 (puts you in the top 50 or so in the US, though there could still be cheaters), then you could have gamed 24/7 and still be out classed and under leveled. Like if you're among the "average" I stated to be level 13, then you have roughly 24,000 points. If...
What Sony should do is push for companies to offer rewards for trophies, which some games do. In the past we had certain titles offer Home items for doing something and Final Fantasy XIII had themes for doing certain trophies. One of my favorites was the Atlus Catherine promotion, where you could earn one of three tiers of Catherine avatars by beating the first babel stage within a certain amount of time. Better the time, better the bonus.
Another thing might be offering som...
I think giving away Burst (with Plus, which was a late substitute) was their way of gauging interest in God Eater 2 for a US release and or getting people interested in God Eater 2 in the US.
