I honestly don't get some developers these days. First Capcom released Lost Planet on the Xbox 360 and then like a year later the PS3 version is released. And then Capcom released Lost Planet Colonies Edition only on the PC and Xbox 360 but not the PS3.... I guess because Lost Planet just came out on the PS3 just this year and maybe that's a reason why it didn't come out on the PS3, but Lost Planet is no game to brag about anyways, the 360 and PC can have the piece of garbage.
Ha ha! The PS2 is outselling the Xbox 360 in Japan! Microsoft might as well give up on Japan.
Damn, what the heck is going on with Splinter Cell Conviction?! But, I've got a PS3 and MGS4 is just around the corner, so it really doesn't matter to me.
I liked the first 3 Splinter Cell games, but I never became a "fan" of the Splinter Cell series and I always thought that Metal Gear Solid was a better overrall series and had better overrall gameplay. The characters and story in Splinter Cell is no where near MGS.... I guess Ubisoft is putting Conviction on the ba...
Ha ha ha! Oh my god, when I first saw the review score for this game,I started laughing out loud and I'm serious. I honestly didn't think that Ninja Gaiden 2 would get such a low score, but DAMN that's gotta hurt.
Wow. I seriously didn't expect Ninja Gaiden 2 to get 7/10 Review Scores. I expected a lot of 8/10's and possibly a few 9.0/10's, but I didn't think that a reviewer would rate it a 7/10, reviewers these days sure are unforgiving.
I've played the demo of Ninja Gaiden Simga and it was "o.k", but I have to admit that I like God of War better... to be honest I didn't even know about Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox. Maybe if Ninja Gaiden was released earlier in the Original Xbox's...
I don't know about anyone else, but I NEVER considered HAZE a system seller title or a "major" game title for the PS3. I'm really not surprised the way that HAZE turned out really, but I do wish that it was recieved a little bit better among the harsh gaming critics.
I've always considered Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 the PS3's most anticipated shooters.
The only reason why someone would recommend a Wii is that anyone and everyone can play it, but not everyone can play a PS3 or 360.
But it definantly isn't unethical to recommend anything else other than a Wii. And how can someone recommend a Wii if you can't even walk in a store and buy one? So basically that would mean that a PS3 or 360 would be one of the only gaming consoles to recommend if Wii's aren't avaliable in most stores.
The Nintendo Wii would clearly ...
I really don't think that "Ultra HD" will be that much of a huge difference from 1080p HD visually. HDTV's haven't even become standard yet and a lot of people still can't afford them. Watching television in 3-D should be the next step, now that's something cool.
As long as a game series has a nice story, deep characters, and awesome gameplay like Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid, I don't think that it really matters how many sequels are made. But when it gets to the point where everytime a sequel is made for the game, the story turns out to be pretty medicore and the characters are pretty much average, then more sequels for that game shouldn't be considered.
I don't think that there will be an end to the Final Fantasy series anytime ...
I wonder why Microsoft even put in their time and money into Banjoe 3 if they didn't really expect it to be a big hit on the console. It's obvious that Microsoft is mainly still trying to cater to the hardcore gamers, but at the same time they are "trying" to reach the casual audience as well.
And yeah, that article was pretty much right on the spot when it said that Gears 2 will really be one of the only biggest 360 games for a long while after it's released because...
I think that these Playstation Network Cards were supposed to come out this Spring, but I have to admit that these Cards should have came out a long time ago. But I've been using my Debit Card to make purchases, so it's not a big deal. For anyone that's paranoid about using a Credit/Debit Card on the PSN, The Playstation Network is very secure, so don't worry about it.
But at least when these cards come out, kids wont have to beg there moms and dads to use their Credit Cards to...
The comparisons between Xbox 360 and PS3 Multiplatform games mean literally nothing to me unless the developer actually leads development on both consoles. Games like Gran Turismo 5 Prologue blows GRID away. It's obvious that PS3 exclusives look better and run better than nearly all 3rd party multiplatform games.
Your damn right. God of War 3 and Wardevil will OWN Ninja Gaiden 2.
Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden can't touch the story and gameplay in God of War.
MGS4 will be the game to own in June BALLLINN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I personally am a Single Player gamer. I think that Online is a little overrated and Online is implemented in a lot of games where it shouldn't be, like Dark Sector and Grand Theft Auto 4.
I think that it's just a shame that people don't see Single Player Only games worth buying and the majority of people only rent Single Player games.
Single Player Story driven games are the heart and soul of gaming.
Shadow of the Colossus is one of the best PS2 games ever. It's my 3rd favorite PS2 game of all time with my top 3 list looking like this:
God of War 2
Metal Gear Solid 3
Shadow of the Colossus
I simply can't wait for what Team ICO will bring next. I hope that they are at E3 to present something, and hopefully something with a 2009 release date at least.
If Square Enix thinks that they've seen good sales so far, just imagine how much money they'll rake in once they drop Final Fantasy XIII, the most anticipated RPG of the entire 7th generation. Ha ha!.... I can just see PS3's flying off shelves around the world right now once that game drops.
Square Enix doesn't need to waste their time developing games on the 360.
Well it's about time Microsoft is focusing on Quality over Quantity. Yes, there may be more games for download on Xbox Live Arcade, but I can pretty much guarantee that there are more quality games for download on the Playstation Network. Quality should always come before Quantity because what's the use of having 300 or 400 downloadable games when only around 50-100 of them are actually Quality downloadable games?
There's not a game coming out worth paying $59.99 for until June 12th.
@ LenHart: It's not a Xbox 360 Exclusive, it's out on the PC. "Exclusive" means that it's out on 1 platform, not 2.
At least the PS3 actually has Exclusive games that aren't ported to the PC. What's the use of having a 360 if the same games come out on the PC for it: Mass Effect, Bioshock, Gears of War, etc....
