Playstation The Official Magazine gave Metal Gear Solid 4 a 5/5, and that review score sure isn't fake becaue I'm looking at the magazine article with the review score right now.
Also, the editor in chief of Playstation The Official Magazine Rob Smith said that he played through the game 2 different times. The first time he played through it, it wasn't as close to the final build of the game, but the 2nd time he played through it, MGS4 was pretty much at the final build.
I'm subscribed to EGM and I was actually looking forward to seeing what they would score the game, but it doesn't matter because MGS4 has already gotten very good reviews.

I agree that the Xbox 360 isn't dead, but I definantly am starting to feel that the Xbox 360's momentum is slowing down a bit.
Personally I think that Gears 2 will be the 360's last big push for a LONG while and I think that it's safe to make that assumption. Alan Wake has plenty of potential for 2009 and so does Splinter Cell Conviction and Halo Wars.

Well, 3rd party developers really can't make the game that they want to make because the Wii is so limited in hardware and processing power, so they just push out shovelware because they know that casual gamers will buy it.

As long as Sony gets out the PS3 Exclusives, I'm happy. Sony's success against the Xbox 360 has nothing to do with the PSN. The PS2 100 million+ installbase will determine the Playstation 3's success and big AAA PS3 exclusive upcoming games will determine the PS3's success.
I know that Sony will get the PSN in very good shape, but until then, give me the PS3 exclusives Sony and I'll wait for other additions to the PSN for as long as it takes.

I think that I have to agree somewhat. The game that has the better storyline will be the best overrall and will be the most memorable. Both games will have nice gameplay. In this day and age where shooters are just pretty much the same, the story/plot and characters is really the only thing that can diversify it from anything else.

There will never be a Sony/Microsoft joint console released and it's that simple. Each company has their own specific goals that they want to accomplish.

Edge magazine sounds like another GameSpot right now to me.
I don't need Edge magazine to tell me what kind of game MGS4 is because I already know that it's a 10/10 game and it's one of the best games coming out the entire year. MGS4 has gotten numerous 10/10 and 9.0+ scores, and MGS4 is perfection. I'm getting MGS4 on the day of release. Edge magazine is just jealous that it's not coming to the Xbox 360. I can't believe that this game got a 7.5/10. BLACK was one of the best shooters I ever played on the PS2 and that game had some of the best graphics in a PS2 game at that time. But I do remember that BLACK was only a Single Player game and there was no Online, so maybe that's why it got a low score... also Black was pretty short too, there was only like 7 or 8 levels, but it still was a good game. Just because it was easy to pre-order the bundle, it doesn't mean that it wasn't as rare as previously thought, it just means that Konami has gotten there act together and has stepped up there servers for high traffic. On the Japanese Konami store, they sold out of the Limited Edition 40GB PS3 MGS4 bundles within a few days, but I think that it's safe to say that Konami has provided the U.S. with more bundles than Japan most likely due to the fact that the Gaming market is larger in the U.S.....
I'm looking forward to all of the PS3's exclusives left for this year except for maybe Socom Confrontation because it will be an Online Only game and I need a Single Player Campaign in a game in order for me to buy it.

I honestly think that it's VERY possible for the PS3 to overtake the Xbox 360 in 2009 and here are the reasons why I think so:
1. The PS3 has outsold the Xbox 360 several times in the U.S. even though it's more expensive and the PS3 is selling better worldwide than the Xbox 360 right now even though it's more expensive.

What the heck?! That really doesn't make sense for a Xbox 360 demo to release in Japan and not the U.S., I mean, Xbox 360 owners in Japan are VERY scarce.
The only reason why Xbox 360 owners in Japan may buy NG2 is because Itagaki is Japanese and it's his game, but the first Ninja Gaiden game on the Xbox wasn't a hit in Japan and I doubt the NG2 will be.
I think that Mass Effect will come to the PS3 now that EA has acquired Bioware, and I also think that the PS3 will get Ace Combat 6, and if not, I'm pretty sure that the PS3 will get the next installment of Ace Combat, I mean, the Ace Combat series was ALWAYS on the Playstation consoles and I'm almost certain that it will make it's way to the PS3.

I think maybe if Ninja Gaiden 2 had a more of a intruiging story and more memorable game characters that it would have been more interesting to play, but Itagaki is one of those guys that favors gameplay over storytelling, but why not make a game that has awesome gameplay with a awesome story to go along with it?
