I think it's just that Japanese gamers want to buy games developed by Japanese developers and Japanese Game Companies. I'm not surprised one bit. I expected this type of recpection. The 80GB PS3 has been off store shelves for like 4-5 months and there has been THOUSANDS of people that have put off a PS3 purchase until the 80GB PS3's return. With the 80GB PS3+ Dualshock 3+ MGS4 for $499, it's a no brainer, IT WILL SELL and will push PS3 sales even further in the United States. And I know that a lot of people have put off a PS3 purchase until the release of MGS4.
With this news, just imagine if Sony managed to get the 40GB PS3 down to $299.99 at the end of the year, Ha ha! If you've got a 40GB PS3 WITH Blu-ray for $299.99 and you've got a Xbox 360 Premuim possibly reduced to $299.99 as well, the PS3 will be unstoppable. I don't think that The Getaway was overrated. To be honest, I almost liked The Getaway more than Grand Theft Auto.
However, I know one thing for sure, Halo 3 is the most overrated game of ALL TIME. There is nothing revoultionary about Halo 3 that hasn't been done in any other shooter and the graphics were subpar. It's almost funny how Microsoft almost always overhypes there games to death.
I honestly think that San Andreas was the best GTA game in terms of content. GTA4 was just a stripped down version of San Andreas with better graphics. I would have to definantly agree. Nearly ALL of the Xbox 360's AAA game titles or big game titles are all rated M. Banjoe Kazooie 3 is really Microsofts first attempt to release a totally different game that could have potential. Viva Pinata doesn't count because it's crap, but Banjoe could bring more casual gamers to the 360, but I always think that the 360 will be viewed as a hardcore console for people that like shooters.

The only thing that I didn't like about the Metal Gear Saga Vol. 2 DVD is that it wasn't in HD and it could have been in better quality, but it's not really a big deal because the DVD came for free once you pre-ordered MGS4 in the U.S. and you can only expect so much when it's free I guess.

All of the talk about how tough the Ninja Gaiden games are is making me courious of how tough it really is. Yeah, I just got Gamestop's Email Newsletter this morning and I almost couldn't believe that Haze had been dropped to $39.99 already.
