Microsoft is relying too much on 3rd party and they obviously know it because they are paying for timed exclusives. I guess since Microsoft literally has no first party developing they have plenty of money to throw around for 3rd party. Star Ocean 4 will be coming to the Playstation 3. Personally I think that Gamestop only placed orders for just a few of the 80GB PS3 MGS4 bundles at a time on purpose.
I'm almost certain that bigger stores like Best Buy and Walmart will have a MUCH larger stock for the simple fact that they are larger stores.

To me it seems like every 3rd person game with shooting will have a cover system similiar to Gears or Uncharted and that can get a little boring because it may feel that you are playing the same game over and over again and the only difference is the characters and story.

I don't know about anyone else, but I CAN'T WAIT for E3. I've just got to know what games will be definantly coming out in 2009 for the PS3. Of course MGS4 is a system seller. Up to this point in the PS3's lifecycle, there hasn't been an Exclusive System Seller game title. Metal Gear Solid 4's presence has been around for 3+ years and it's arguably the biggest game title to be released the entire year.

Damn, too bad the chances of Heavenly Sword 2 are "very unlikely" according to Ninja Theory. I wish that they would make a second Heavenly Sword game because it had a lot of potential. I would even go so far as to say that Heavenly Sword was about just as cinematic as the Metal Gear Solid games.... Heavenly Sword was one of those games where you had that emotional connection with the characters in the game and games like that are just so rare these days.
Your damn right Playstation has loyal gamers. I've been a loyal Playstation gamer since the Original Playstation and haven't bought a non-Sony console since the SNES. The Xbox 360's biggest limitations is that it's fanbase can't expand outside of the U.S. or U.K. With the way that the U.S. Economy is right now, Microsoft can't be depending on U.S. console sales like they always have been.

Ha ha! The PS3 will always get the AAA big RPG game titles like Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy versus XIII, and White Knight Chronicles.

Ready at Dawn definantly are talented developers, especially since they pulled of God of War Chains of Olympus. I had no idea that it had the game had gone Gold in Japan... that's pretty good for a American game in Japan. I like the Limited Edition MGS4 Box Art better...the hand drawn look of the Special Edition looks a lot more unique to me, but the Standard Edition Box Art pretty nice as well.
