Well, he didn't really "diss" the Xbox Live interface, he just stated how he felt about the Xbox Live interface compared to the PSN Interface. It's not like he said, "The Xbox 360's Interface is garbage" or something. But, the game journalists are just trying to get more hits on their stories by putting over the top words in their headlines when it's not neccessary.
So I guess Halo 4 must have been what Microsoft had up their sleeve.... honestly it wasn't anything that was unexpected because Microsoft will always milk the Halo franchise as long as there is a Xbox console.
I guess innovation in the gaming industry really has gone out of the window and I guess whenever Microsoft starts to run out of games they can always release another Halo or Gears of War, ha ha.
The Halo series has been so overrated at times I just wish th...
I wonder if Microsoft could even have a successful Xbox console without a Halo game? I really don't think that they could because literally one of the only games the Xbox consoles are really known for is Halo, Halo, Halo. Gears of War becoming one of the next flagship games for the Xbox consoles, but I almost think it's time for Microsoft to stop milking Halo... I mean, Halo 3 was one of the most overrated games ever. Unless there is more possible story to be covered, another Halo game isn't ...
That's just stupid, just because the PS3 didn't outsell the Wii in Japan for the month of June, now all of a sudden someone is saying that MGS4 wasn't a system seller in Japan?... Um.. Hello, PS3 sales increased by 8 times to 80,000+ for the week in Japan during MGS4 release, that's a system seller and the PS3 even outsold the Wii in Japan for that week.
The PS3 sold very well in Japan for the month of June compared to other months. MGS4 was a system seller, period.

As far as the PS3's RAM is concerned, I'm pretty sure that Sony could have put more RAM in the PS3 if they wanted to intially, but Sony already knew that with the Cell Processor and Blu-ray built into the PS3, that it wasn't going to be a cheap machine and adding more RAM could have increased the initial cost of the PS3.
Microsoft could afford to put more RAM in the 360 because they didn't have a Cell Processor and Blu-ray built in. I think that Sony probably wanted to have mor...
COD4 sold over 3 million on the PS3 and those lazy ass developers can't even take the time to add trophies???... Well screw you Infinity Ward.
But I don't really expect a lot of older games to support trophies, but I think that every upcoming game a month or so away should support them.
Some trophies for MGS4 would be pretty nice, but the Emblems is somewhat of a trophy system on it's own, just like Uncharted with the Medals.
I really don't care if there isn't going to be trophies for Resistance because it's a launch title, but I wouldn't mind trophies for Rachet.
But, like several other people have stated, Resistance 2 is the number 1 priority. I can wait on trophies for other older Insomniac games, but they can get out Resistance 2 first and then work on trophies. Insomniac has to put everything they have into Resistance 2 if they are going to go head-to-head with Gears 2 in November and there can...
Costumes like this should have been included in the game as unlockables. When games are $59.99 a pop, developers should be packing as much into a game as possible during the initial game launch.
MGS4 has 14 unlockable FaceCamo's, and 5 different Unlockable Costumes in the game. There isn't an excuse for Ninja Gaiden 2 not to have a few special costums already included in the game as unlockables.
Well, mine installed correctly and I haven't had any issues. I was getting a little worried at first, but I backed up my game saves just in case because if something was to happen I want to be prepared.
But, it sounds like Sony should release a patch or something. It's almost getting a little ridiculous because after a new firmware update for the PS3, something like this happens.
I haven't had any issues with my PS3 after downloading 2.40, but I just downloaded it like 10 minutes ago.
All of these issues is making me want to backup my hard drive right now because there's no way in hell I'm going to reformat my hard drive if something does occur and loose all of my saved data.
A 1GB installation for LittleBigPlanet is nothing to fuss about. The largest install that I've had to do so far is GT5 Prologue with a massive 5GB install.
It's a ripoff.
I think that downloadable content can be both good and it can be bad.
It can be good because developers can add new stuff in a game, but it can be bad because developers may intentionally leave out stuff in the game that should be just unlockables and just save it so that it can be downloaded so they can just make more money.
When games cost $59.99, developers should be packing as much into a game as possible. Extra costumes in a gam...
In my opinion, Killzone 2 is in a league of it's own. The fact that Killzone 2 is the first FPS game that has a cover system that is kept entirely in First Person view and to me, that's groundbreaking because it's never been done before.
I'm also looking forward to the story in Killzone 2 as well because I played the first Killzone game and loved it, and I can't wait to see what happens in Killzone 2.
As far as Killzone 2 not being innovative or not doing anythin...
I'm just going to wait until 2.40 is posted on the Playstation website and download it from there onto my flash drive. It should be there tomorrow hopefully.
I've said this once and I'll say it again, if the Xbox 360 hasn't been outselling the PS3 every month until now while at a lower price point, the 360 will probably never outsell the PS3 worldwide with a price cut.
I mean, Microsoft has all of these big games out on the Xbox 360: Mass Effect, Bioshock, Gears of War, Halo 3, etc..., but the Playstation 3 really only has 1 big game (MGS4), and the PS3 is more expensive, but it's outselling the 360 at a $399/$499 price point.
I was thinking the same thing, I mean, it's not like the 360 requires hard drive installations so really no one with a 360 would even need 60GB of hard drive space.... unless they were downloading lots of multimedia content, but most 360 owners probably only use their 360's just for gaming and that's it.
Microsoft is only coming out with a 60GB hard drive just so that they can say that they have a 360 with more hardrive space than 20GB. And I heard that the 20GB 360 doesn't com...
It's about time Xbox 360 games are requiring the Hard drive. I guess it's time for people that just have Xbox 360 Arcade/Core models to cough up for one of Microsoft's overpriced hard drives because this is probably a sign for what's to come in the future because there will probably be more 360 games that will require hard drives.
With the Original Xbox Microsoft had hard drives in every system but they built a 360 without a hard drive included and it just doesn't make sense to...
I almost can't believe that Microsoft actually expects the 360 to all of a sudden start selling like hot cakes just because of a price drop. That earlier price drop in Europe this year that made the 360 cheaper than the Wii did almost nothing at all, but it helped 360 sales some, but the fact still remains that the PS3 is outselling the 360 despite the higher price point.
I can see why Microsoft might be a little frustrated right now. Microsoft has some of their biggest games o...
Ha ha! The Gamecube has been dead for so long I almost forgot about the poor thing. They should have at least gave him a PS2 or a Wii at least.
Microsoft has used price as a weapon all along... and it hasn't really done much for them, as we all saw that May's NPD numbers for the 360 were literally the same as April's NPD numbers, while the PS3's NPD numbers in May actually increased from April's sales in the U.S. while selling at a higher price point.
Microsoft dropped the price of the 360 in various places in Europe, but the PS3 still outsells it in Europe. The 360 is cheaper than the Wii in Europe but the Wii still o...
