No Sony didn't screw up the gaming market, they redefined the gaming market with the PS1 and PS2.
Microsoft screwed up the gaming market by releasing an unreliable console 1 year earlier than the competition. I guess Microsoft knew that they couldn't compete with Sony on an equal level with the PS3, so they scrapped the Original Xbox and released the 360 a year ahead... pitiful.
The gaming media can talk about Sony all they want, but Sony has had the most success...

The PS3 has plenty of exclusives coming in 2009 and down the road and not having Diablo 3 on the PS3 wont mean anything if it does indeed come to the 360....Even if Diablo 3 came out on the PS3 I wouldn't be buying it anyways.
There's really nothing wrong with buying refurbished electronics, but me personally, I prefer brand new electronics and a company selling a refurbished product as new shouldn't be done.

Almost every major 360 game comes out on the PC or is coming out on the PC (Mass Effect, Gears, Bioshock, Splinter Cell Conviction, etc..). I'm just glad the PS3 actually has exclusives.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is never coming out on the Xbox 360. Kojima said that some of the things in MGS4 were ONLY possible on the Playstation 3, and just hearing that statement, that pretty much confirms AGAIN that MGS4 is a Playstation 3 exclusive. I really think it's sad because it's like Nintendo has totally forgotten about it's hardcore gamers. When you look at the disappointing sales of the Gamecube last gen, I guess that's when Nintendo decided that hardcore gaming isn't something they wanted to do or pursue.
For me a shooter almost MUST use the R1 button to fire the gun. There's no way a shooter should use any other button but a trigger button to fire the gun.

This isn't anything new. To get the Big Boss Emblem yes, you have to beat the game on the hardest difficulty in less than 5 hours... they are reporting this like it's something brand new that was just discovered.... I've known about it before MGS4 was released.
Anyone can beat any game in a few hours if they just run through the game by doing no exploring, and to beat MGS4 in 5 hours, you literally have to run through the game while doing no exploring at all and of course skip ...

This is so old. I watched my Special Edition DVD with MGS4 like, last week. The ONLY thing that was shown in the video was a Xbox 360 controller, there wasn't even a visible 360 console anywhere, JUST A CONTROLLER. Just because there was a Xbox 360 controller shown, does that mean that they have 360 dev. kits?.... NO! it does not mean that.

The only notable female Video game developer that I can think of or form a picture of is the one that works for Naughty Dog.... I think that she's up in the ranks in the company too, like a Senior Producer or something. I can't think of her name right now, but I know that she's a middle aged woman.

I'm a PS3 owner, but Alan Wake is really one of the only future Xbox 360 titles that I'm actually looking forward to seeing.
