The first day of TGS was just yesterday in Japan. Just in case you didn't know, TGS doesn't last for just one day Omega4. There's still plenty of PS3 goodness to be announced. TGS 2008 October 9th-12th.
The 360 just had a recent JRPG release last month, so it's not that surprising, but the 360's numbers have fallen a lot considering the amount of JRPG's already on the system.

It's almost a shame that most of SquareEnix's games and the majority of JRPG's from Japanese developers aren't hitting the PS3 first or releasing on the PS3 because those games could have EASILY sold 500,000-750,000 copies or more just in Japan alone on the PS3, but the 360 userbase in Japan is just a little over 700,000 and JRPG's aren't that popular on the 360 in the U.S.

Well, it looks like I'll be staying up late tonight to hear more news about the Sony press conference. I hope Sony announces a release date for White Knight outside of Japan at their conference too. The PS3 is going to have a stellar holiday in Japan with White Knight driving sales in late December no doubt.

Far Cry 2 already looks like it's a good game, plus it's already gotten 2 good reviews and I expect that trend to continue.
If the PS3 was the lead platform or if Bioshock was developed specifically for each platform then the issues with Bioshock on PS3 probably wouldn't be so much of an issue.
I think that the majority of 3rd party developers have come to grips with the PS3's hardware, because the most of the really bad ports were last year on the PS3 because developers were still getting used to the PS3's tech, but this year it's been mostly the opposite.

The PS3's D-pad is best for Tekken anyways, and Tekken is mostly considered a Playstation franchise regardless of what other system it's on and and I'm sure more people will be buying it on the PS3 just because of those 2 reasons.

I think that it's going to take longer than 2 years for Blu-ray to overtake DVD's.... I think it will take about 3-4 years, but Blu-ray IS taking of in sales in some regions of the world much faster than the U.S. though.

I haven't made up my mind yet if I'm going to get Bioshock on the PS3 or not, but either way I already had tons of games I was going to pick up this Fall over Bioshock anyways (Dead Space, LBP, Motorstorm 2, Fallout 3, Resistance 2, Far Cry 2).
I had planned to get Bioshock on the PS3 early next year (January or February) but it looks like I wont be picking up Bioshock until it hits the $30 dollar mark because I just can't see myself paying full $60 bucks for a year old 360 port....

The only games on that list that aren't on the PS3 is Left 4 Dead, Fable 2, Gears of War 2, and The Last Remnant. The Last Remnant wont be on the PS3 this Fall, but more than likely it will be coming out next year on the PS3.

The quality of Blu-ray far exceeds compressed HD video off of a Torrent that is probably full of spyware and viruses. You aren't getting full HD without Blu-ray and it's as simple as that.
It's funny how 360 fans deny Blu-ray whenever it is the ONLY HD disc format and you all are going to have to upgrade to Blu-ray sooner or later if you want to take full advantage of your HDTV (If you have a HDTV). There are some Blu-ray players for $299, and they aren't ALL over $400 bucks.
Microsoft is busy buying DLC for 3rd party games that will appear on the PS3 while Sony is investing in their own 1st party studios, and that's why Sony 9 PS3 titles to announce at TGS, but so far it looks as though Microsoft will have little of anything to announce at TGS.
Microsoft must be off their rocker if they think that 3rd party games are this important because it's 1st party games that make your system stand out, not exclusive DLC for 3rd party games that are already on you...
It would really be dumb if Star Ocean 4 didn't come to the PS3 because it will sell the most on the PS3.
I always thought that Star Ocean 4 would come to the PS3 eventually, because if SquareEnix made FFXIII multiplatform, it would only make sense that Star Ocean 4 should be multiplatform as well because if SquareEnix wants to make some real money off of Star Ocean 4, it should be on the PS3.
